38 Weeks Pregnant

38 weeks and slacking on a picture due to lack of getting dressed. Haha... really, my pants are fitting so tight and i refuse to buy bigger maternity clothes because i only have 2 more weeks left. Its insane how much bigger i have gotten in just the last few weeks, fingers crossed its water weight because i have been drinking water like a camel... but i am pretty close to the same weight i had gained with Taylor. I really don't care about the weight gain as much as the frustration of not having anything to wear. It's almost over so that is all i care about :) My Doctor told me that nothing has changed still at 1 cm, so Nora is chilling comfortably in my belly, i think she wants to be a July baby, i am hoping for July 2nd.. (Taylor was born on Oct 2nd). I have noticed an increase of tiredness... more like laziness! Braxton hicks are super annoying my whole stomach will get super tight and if i get them while walking its so annoying! They do not hurt just feel really weird and makes it hard to breathe.

Other than that Taylor is doing great! She is 2 years and 8 months and is a learning sponge!! She has always had interest in learning new things (i'm sure most 2 year olds are!) She has mastered her ABCs... not just the ABC song, but letter recognition (like i would get a sheet of computer paper and draw "F" and she can tell me what letter it is). She has known those since 2, but recently "lower case" abc's she gets "Ii" "Ll" confused.. because the lower case letters look so similar. She knows all her pronunciations of the alphabet, I would get the paper and write "K" and ask her the sound and she would say "Ki!"(however that sound is written out). She can count to 13, after that it gets real choppy.. we are working on number recognition, and her primary colors she has down... once in a while she will get confused but most of the time she can tell you all the colors. I just love watching Taylor learn and she gets so happy when her daddy comes home and she can tell him what she did, what i bought, or what she learned. She is like a mini-Dino (you know the flinstones) Brandon comes home and she is "yip, yip, yip" until he will pay attention to her.

Yesterday Taylor got a gift in the mail from Lita & gpa, it was a puzzle of the united states, puzzle says 5 years and older... but why not start early! LOL.. Im not sure if that is a recommendation for starting Kindergarten but its fun letting her play with the puzzle. Melissa and Doug make awesome wooden puzzles and toys at Target. Oma has an ABC puzzle that i need to order for Nora that seems like a great way to learn the ABCs also they have Numbers and all kinds of puzzles and they come with sound!! We were playing with the puzzle and i would ask her "where does Uncle Eddy live??" she would point to Colorado and say... "C-O-L-O-R-A-D-O"  LOL she can not say/remember the state so she would pick up the puzzle piece and spell the state, i would try to help and she would say "No, mommy... i do it by myself" she is such an independent child been like that since birth... Im totally fine with though!!!

We were playing in her pop-up tent (i really miss my bonus room.. this obnoxious tent takes up our whole living room, and while i try to take it down... taylor freaks!!)

I took a small video of Taylor playing with her States puzzle..

Maybe my next post will be... Nora is here!!!... LOL... I am wishing!!!
