Ballet and Tap

Taylor is starting Dance!! I'm so excited for her! I was kinda worried how she would act around other children since she does not go to daycare. We got there and it was us, and one other girl. This girl was running up and down the studio, jumping on the ballet poles.. i mean she was all over the place. Taylor just stared.. LOL. I said "Taylor do you want to go play with the other girl?" her response.. "No mommy, i'm good." This little girl looked like she was maybe 2 years old... well she was 3 already and looked so tiny. I was like omg my child is a giant. A few min later all the other girls showed up, i think there is 5-7 girls in this class.. there was 3 kids that were out of control, i was thinking to myself... thank god that is not my child. There was this little blonde girl who was so poised... i was like, she must have taken this class before or is 4 years old. The class is 3 and 4 year olds, Taylor is 3 in 2 months. Brandon is going to come with me to her next class just to see how everything is :) This is Taylor below going to her first day of "dance school" she calls it.

She runs to her room and says "mommy i need my dance bag, for dance school"

I told Taylor, "you look so cute with your backpack!" she says, "Yes, mommy just like Dora the Explorer"

There was so much going on at Dance that this was the only picture i could snap with my iphone, i had Nora with me and she was in her car seat, so i had to lug this giant car seat around with me every time Taylor wanted me to "see" something...

this is Taylor not wanting to go play with that other girl.. lol

When class starts they kick us out of the room, and all the moms have to wait in the "waiting area" and there is this tiny tv (its super tiny) on the wall... you can barley see Taylor but she is the one next to the lime green circle. They were doing Tap dance in this photo.

The class is 1 hour long, 30 min ballet, 30 min Tap. Once it was almost over Nora started crying for a bottle and i had to feed her... all the girls come out to go home and Taylor starts to throw a fit about not wanting to go home. I had Nora in my arms feeding her and if i take the bottle out she would start crying as well. Taylor started crying "i don't want to go, i want to dance... i want to dance!!!" OMG so embarrassing.. I just wanted to run out of there with her, but i was feeding Nora. WHO ever said having one child is hard, PSSSH have two. One child is a cake walk compared to having two kids you have to deal with. All you mommies who have more than two kids, hats off to you.. you are the bomb. LOL. The second i got enough milk into Nora i put her in the car seat, did not even buckle her in... grabbed my child and ran out the door. Finally into the car, everyone buckled in... and snapped this picture to send to Brandon... Never going out with this child unless she has a nap and i have to take Nora with me... haha.

30 min drive home with this...

15 min of screaming... then she passes out in her car seat :)
Until next time... i'll post my update on that.

My Battle... 26 to go...

My battle with weight that is! Holy moly, I watched what i hate the entire time i was pregnant with Nora.. not too much junk. With Taylor, I ate pretty much everything and anything unhealthy.... TELL ME WHY, i have 26 pounds to loose to get to pre-prego erika?? If you check out my first post on this blog (2 years ago) i am talking about the weight i put on with Taylor... yeah, 26 pounds as well i had to lose... Rrrrhhh. So the other day i went to Clarksville to join the YMCA, left the girls at home with Brandon.. i come home to this, Taylor had destroyed the living room and her bedroom. She had found a book with stickers and had put them ALL over her furniture. Ahhh took forever to scrap those stickers off her furniture. Brandon said he was watching the Olympics one min and passed out... my two year old running around the house unsupervised, good thing i was only gone for an hour, two tops. She might of shown her art skills on our wall.

Speaking of Art work.. check out this lovely drawing Taylor made!! She has mastered the "circle" so when i came into her room she said "look mommy, i did it all by myself!" she pointed out dada on the left, taylor in the middle, mommy on the right, and baby nora next to taylor (she is tiny).

Tomorrow is Taylor's first day of Dance i am so excited for her!!! Can't wait to see if she likes it or not :)

Sisterly Love...

Everyone has asked me how Taylor has been doing with Nora, if she has been acting jealous or mean. Really there has been no change at all other than she loves her to the moon and back, seriosuly. She tells Brandon that she is not his daughter that she is her sister... LOL

She loves to "help" feed her... i am always right next to Taylor, she tends to put the bottle in too far or takes it out and Nora freaks out because i guess she thinks "is that all i'm getting?"

She gives her Kisses & Hugs every chance she gets :)

Always asking to take pictures with Nora, she says "picture me mommy!"

Sharing her toys... Yes, i said sharing... she rarely shares if you know my girl, so letting her little sis have her bear or any toy is a big deal!

Helping mommy give Nora a bath, she gets so mad when i give Nora a bath in the kitchen sink (i take her pink tub and put it over the kitchen sink) because she can't reach her. I think she thinks Nora is one of her baby dolls, she is so gentle with her.

My mom had got Taylor and Nora matching sister shirts from etsy, if you need some matching sibling shirts, or special outfit you should check out  Froggy Tale Designs on Etsy the women does a fabulous job and was quick with shipping!! Nora's nursery colors are Aqua and Light pink so i had the lady use those colors they turned out fabulous, well i thought so! Nora was 1 week old in these photos.

She is so proud to be a BIG sister!

This picture was just hilarious, she had fixated on her hairbow when i took the picture.

Taylor loves to hold Nora's hand

Sisterly Love...

Hoping this last forever... I'm going to enjoy it before the hair pulling, tattle telling starts.. haha

Nora Belle 1 Month!

Hello again! Thought i left? .... haha.... More of a Maternity Blog-leave. I can't believe it has already been a month since Nora was born, actually i can't believe i will have a THREE year old in 2 short months! Things around the Beckner house have been insane, just trying to figure out life and a routine with 2 girls and a husband who is never home, or always sleeping (praying that might change, who knows!). For the past 2 months Taylor has been afraid to sleep in her room at night, she will take a nap in there just not at bed time. I have so many night lights around the house, its technically not even dark.. mom sent her an Elmo video about Elmo not being afraid of the dark... didn't work, she just called Elmo a big boy. LOL. So lately since i have been working at night, Taylor won't go to bed until i am in bed, so the latest she goes to bed is midnight. Nora wakes up every 3 hours at night to feed, usually 11,2,5,8 and then we are up for the morning. Her schedule flip-flops and sometimes she wont go back to bed, that makes one tired momma.

I never knew how EASY it was to go out in public with 1 child... i thought it was the hardest thing ever. Now with a 3 year old, and a 1 month old.... it takes an army to get us out the door at a decent time. I took for granted how easy it was to go to the grocery store with only 1 kid. All those mommies out there with more than 2 kids, you all are crazy! Hahaha... just kidding, but seriously this household is complete (brandon doesn't think so, but financially i need to go back to work and 3 kids in daycare is not an option).

Nora will have her 8 week check up in Sept so we will see her stats, but she is eating/pooping/crying/sleeping well :) She is obviously growing because her newborn close barley fit anymore she is moving onto 0-3 months clothes :) Well Taylor won't nap, and Nora is starting to get uncomfortable wanting a bottle, so its time for me to go! Hopefully it won't be another month before i post... haha it won't. :)
