New Talent?

When i say, "SMILE TAYLOR!!" ..... she gives me the biggest cheesiest smile ever... i just love it.
Of course she has to be in the mood to give you a smile, just like her kisses... this girl makes you work for it. HA-HA... my girl!

Some New News... :)

This past weekend my parents left me with there dog "cougar" the dog was born in 1991... Ansbach, Germany (our school mascot was the Ansbach Cougars!)... a little Pomeranian, i think he is now blind and can't hear really well. He is a fighter, i'm sure he will out live me. Anyways, something about this dog ..when Taylor was 9-10 months old she would associate all the animals as there sounds, her favorite was "quack, quack" for Duck. She would look at our dog and say "Rawf, Rawf" but when it came to my parents dog she would called it "Cougar"... strange kid. Cougar stayed with us this weekend since my parents went out of town, the moment my parents walked out the door... cougar starts to pee on my kitchen wall... i turn around and Bosley is right behind him peeing on the wall... all afternoon they were having peeing wars in my house. I do not have a fence..but bosley knows his boundaries, not sure what i was thinking... but i thought that Cougar would know not to wonder either... as soon as i opened the door, Cougar BOLTED... so i am running down the side of the house and down the street trying to get this blind and deaf dog back into my house... He spent the majority of the weekend in the downstairs bathroom, as i tried to get Bosley back to where he was not peeing on my walls... ugh... long weekend, i was counting down the days till they came back.... hahaha. So my parents went to Ft. Rucker AL to look at rental properties because right now i think they are 85% sure they are moving there sometime the end of the year or Jan... not sure.. but its kinda sad.... oh but it's the military way and i will just have to get over it.... So i guess we will see in a few months was is for sure happening :)

Taylor news... she is 20 months (almost 21months) and talking up a storm... its like we trash the passy and she will not stop talking... she is starting to repeat what we say, she still mumbles or hums words sometimes like "tinkerbell" she still hums that word... its cute. Today while we were watching dora in my bedroom on my bed, I told Brandon " Hey your shoes are in the garage, there must be some kind of shit on them the dog peed on them" Taylor starts to jump on the bed "shit, shit, shit" ..... No more cussing in this house, or at least not around Taylor! I couldn't believe she just said that, we didn't want to try to get her to repeat it either... so we just looked at each other in shock.

 Since she doesn't have a pacifier anymore she sometimes will chew on her fingers, her 2 year molars are coming in and the past few night have been so hard on her, as well as me... she also has another cold it is all in her chest... her cough sounds bad... i went to walmart and got her this Vick's machine (its like a humidifier that puts out warm mist and vicks vapor) Its awesome... it has helped Taylor so much... Doctor's say that she can not have any kind of cold medicine... so this was the next best thing i could think of to help with her chest cold :)

Before Taylor goes to bed (after her Bath, Jammies, warm milk) she will watch Dora the Explorer (Bia) Go Diego Go (go-go) (thank you Netflix) she will get her nite-nite (blanket) and sit at the end of our bed on the floor and watch her shows (brandon and I kid around about how she watches her "stories"(like soaps..lol) and not disturb her). I saw her go into her room and made a bunch of noise coming out she comes back into our room with her rocking chair.... i guess she just wanted to rock and watch her stories....

Happy Father's Day!!!

(Woah 2 blogs in a row, i am on a roll!!!) Yesterday was Father's day and of course Brandon had to work late (3pm-early am)... So Taylor and I spent the entire day at home watching "Elmo" "Dora" and playing with her toys (it was a rainy day anyway). My mom and dad stopped by the house, after they dropped my little brother eddy off at the airport, so we all got to hang out for a bit. Taylor was walking around the house saying "elmo, elmo, elmo?" haha... this little girl cracks me up. Taylor has a few sayings that she has picked up from Dora... we were in the bath tub and there is this little cup that she sat down really fast and sat on top of the cup then said "Awwww, Man".... If you know dora, that is really all that swiper the fox says when he is not suppose to be swiping stuff.. its hilarious, i think she knows how to use it in the correct context as well.... or maybe not? LOL.
Since Father's Day and Brandon's Birthday are in the same month he only got 1 gift and he actually received his gift a couple weeks earlier. Since i met Brandon he always talked about owning a motorcycle.. when Brandon was working for hooters this regular customer his name is "Goat" let him use his motorcycle and take me around the block... lord what was i thinking i didn't even bother to ask him if he ever ridden a bike before... i just assumed, hahaha but he said he knew how to ride one. anyways!!! now that i work from home, i have somewhat of a decent income that i was going to get my teeth fix, yes i was going to get braces... 27 years old and braces.... had the appointment and everything but then i started to talk to Brandon about how he works so hard for this family and he's always wanted a bike... so i made the decision to buy the bike for Brandon and told him that this present is good for all the holidays coming up until i pay it off... haha, he was the happiest i have ever seen him :) I told brandon that i will just get braces with Taylor... it will be like a mommy and daughter thing... I'm sure in 10 years Taylor will need braces if she has my genes... LOL.

Oh!! And fabulous news.... I finally talked brandon into getting rid of the passy from Taylor (he really didn't want to get rid of it because it is the last "baby"thing Taylor has, and she is just happy and content with it.. but it is time, she is 20 months)...  Father's day marked day 1 of no passy and i have been going strong of not letting Taylor have one (i threw them all out and hid 1, just incase.) It has been two days and today was a bit harder, she skipped her nap and was a crab all day long, but i put her to bed at 8:45 and she whined for 5 min and fell asleep. Next big milestone will be potty training... but that will not happen until she is 2 or 2 1/2. She is showing signs of potty training... she likes to flush the toilet and she already has her own mini-toilet and toilet seat... but she just really plays around with the idea of the potty.  So 3 more months and she will be 2 OMG OMG where did the time go????? Mark your calendar's for families reading the blog OCT 8th Saturday Taylor's 2nd Birthday Party at Taylor's House!!! (her birthday is the 2nd, but it falls on a sunday and my dad's estimated arrival date from Afghanistan is Oct 1) So just taking precaution, so he has the opportunity to come to her 2nd Birthday) Yes i have already started planning it tooooo... hehe... too excited!

A whole lotta stuff in one weekend!!

This past week has been so busy! My younger brother edward (eddy) turned 25 on the 10th and Brandon turned 30 on the 16th... Eddy came into town this week as well as my older Brother Richard and his wife Valerie, they are expecting a baby Nov 18th so we went to 4D peek on Wed to find out the sex of the baby. She was 17 weeks along and it was so neat seeing the baby in 4D. I went and had one done of Taylor when i was 30 weeks along and plan on getting one done again if we have another baby... they are have a BOY!!!! Oh BOY!!!!! Little Ricky (Richard Scott Olsen III).  My dad came back this week from Afghanistan for his mid tour. So the entire family was under 1 roof... it was really nice for everyone to be together :)
Here is eddy and brandon blowing out their candles, i made them a cake... hahaha Just kidding... well i brought the cake, wal-mart actually made it.. it was really good cake though!!!

Taylor saw it and immediately thought... this must be mine.... she dug right into the cake!

Taylor helped cook with Grandpa... omg it scared me every time my dad got Taylor close to the grill or stove... i kept freaking out saying not too close.... Dad said she needs to start early (cooking)... apparently they never started with me, because i still don't know how to cook... and forget the grill i've never touched a grill in my life!

Uncle eddy was teaching Taylor how to blow bubbles... she would end up putting her mouth on the stick.. i guess a little bit of soap never hurt anyone...LOL.

We brought the mini pool out... the water was so cold that we had put a pot of hot water in the pool so taylor could play in it comfortable... she doesn't really splash or swim... she has these toy fishes and net that she goes "fishing" with.  Her little swimmers (swim diapers) are WAYYY small... lol. mom had those left from last summer when taylor was 6 months old and swam in their pool, they worked fine... a bit tight but they worked...haha.

I got Ricky and Val a few little outfits for baby ricky and then i got Ricky (omg those names are going to confuse me).. a T-shirt that says "New Dad 2011" I thought it was cute... :)

Part Two of the shores...

Just wanted to upload a few pictures of our trip to Nashville Shores the other day :) the first time we went i or Taylor must of got sunscreen in the lens of the camera because when i took the photos they looked alright on the camera screen but when i downloaded them to my computer... oh no, they were all a blur... so this time i made sure that the lens was cleaned off so i could get some pictures of Taylor at the water park :) Everywhere we went the lifeguards told us that taylor needed a life jacket everywhere except the kiddie area... nashville shores had these oversized vests for kids that just made taylor look so uncomfortable, so we stopped at walmart and got Taylor one that actually fit and some matching water shoes for the pool :) Taylor is so independent, which scares me to death in the water... she just wants to do her own thing and she can't because she will just go face down, and just not good... haha, apparently she thinks she can swim, and she can not.
Taylor all greased up with sunblock... yes she is SPF 100... can't let my baby burn!

Taylor all suited up ready to go into the Pool!!! She kept called the pool or water "kai" not sure what that means but every time we got out to switch pools she would scream "KAI, KAI, KAI" gotta love the 20 month old baby language!

We had so much fun at the water park! My two brothers (Ricky & Eddy), my sister-in-law (Valerie), and my dad (from afgan) will be in town this coming week! Super excited that everyone will be in one house this coming up week! When i was pregnant with Taylor my mom took me to 4Dpeek in clarksville to get a 4D ultrasound of Taylor it was so cool, so since my brother and his wife are 17 weeks along my mom is treating them to an 4D peek ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby!!!... i can not wait to find out if they are having a little boy or little girl... so excited!!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I seriously thought today was Friday, all day, until my mom told me it was Saturday... bummer. LOL. 

Nashville Shores

We decided to go ahead and get season passes to nashville shores because 2 visits would pay for a season pass... its only June and we have already been twice so we are going to be at the water park a lot this summer!! hehe. On our way down to the waterpark, this random song came on the radio and Taylor just started jamming out to this song.... she cracks us up... i just love her!!! We couldn't stop laughing :)



Its super late! So i will post pictures tomorrow!! Here is a video of Taylor on her first water slide... she loved it, she wanted to go on the slide over and over again!!

Hot Day in Tennessee!!!

Whew... it is HOT :) We went to walmart a while ago to pick up some summer items and it is finally hot enough for us to break out the water stuff!!! Taylor enjoys being outside even when its 90 degrees outside... doesn't really seem to effect her as long as she has something to play with. We had her pool and sprinkler set up and she just kept running through it... she wanted to jump in the pink pool but every time she would, she would fall on her face because the bottom of that pink plastic pool was so slippery! Hopefully in the next couple of days we are planning on going to the water park... i heard the cicadas in Nashville are not too fond of water so hopefully they are not overtaking the water park... unlike the Zoo!!! Yes we drove all the way to Nashville to go to the Zoo and the min we got out of our vehicle there were cicadas everywhere... omg it was so nasty, yes i know they do not bite and they do no harm... but they are BUGS large BUGS that i do NOT like.... they are scary looking, if you haven't seen one, don't judge.... So we got right back into our car and drove to Green Hills to go to the mall instead...LOL. Brandon said, "you are such a girl".... Umm thanks hun.. the last time i checked i was?!?!
