Happy Blog-anniversary.. 1 Year Later!

I can't believe it has already been a year since i started this blog... really i thought i wouldn't keep up with it after i moved back to Tennessee.... but the more i thought about it, it's really nice for the grandparents and the great- grandparents who live out of state and like to keep up with Taylor :) I know when i go over to my parents house and oma and opa's house, i see photos from my blog of Taylor... so its nice not have to print and mail them... they are all right here. Also all of my photos and videos are in my computer, which really freak me out because if my computer ever crashed i would loose everything... well aside from the blog and facebook photos but still i need like a separate hard drive just incase!
Its crazy to look back in the beginning of this blog when Taylor was only 3 months... so lets see how long i can keep up with this! :)
Oh and i am joining the gym... i've decided to be a bit selfish and spend money on a gym membership... seriously, i hate the extra 18 pounds i have been caring. So i am going to go to the gym, and they have a mini-daycare center at the gym where i can get 1 hour to work out and Taylor can get some other children interaction...she is in a phase where she wants to poke your eyes and say "eyes" so i am hoping they don't ban us from the gym.... i will let you know how that goes..... ;)
Exciting News about Brandon!!! Everyone i know knows so its not really a surprise... but Brandon got a promotion!!! He is the new General Manager at Ruby Tuesdays! How exciting!!! I will blog about that more tomorrow! Just a quick update that we are still here and just have been a bit busy with life... Little Posh Bebe is doing fantastic... so thanks to everyone who wants to give their children fabulous shoes!!!

Dress Up!!

Taylor and I got bored one afternoon and decided to play dress up, as she ran like a crazy girl all over the apartment... LOL... since she has started to walk, she is non-stop all over the place running... more like a tornado of DESTRUCTION... she is 15 months and loves to get into everything and destroy it. I have always been a neat freak, since i moved out of my parents house and lived on my own.. i always have a mind set that guest might come over to my house so i want it to be neat/clean... Now that i have a 15 month old child it seems impossible to keep my home clean everywhere she goes she leaves a path of destruction.. Haha. a moment of quietness... and she is in the bathroom shredding the toilet paper, or where is taylor... in the dog food bowl chewing on a piece of dog food...Gross... I can not take my eyes off her for one second or she is into something... if you ever come to my house in my living room... open a drawer... any drawer... you will find NOTHING.... hahahaha... i figured, if there is nothing there... she can't destroy it..... or throw a tantrum if i take it away. I suppose it is just a phase and it will be something new in the next few months :) i video recorded Taylor running around the house .... Taylor was wearing the petty-skirt i sewed for her 6 months pictures (the skirt was 6-12 months size) the skirt fits a bit tight right now so this is the last time she will be able to wear it... Awww this is the mini-photoshoot i took of Taylor, she was 6 months...

15 month Check-up!!!

Taylor is a little bit older then 15 months. She had her 15th month check up appointment this past Friday. She is a growing girl!! Her stats are: Length 32.5 inches 96%. Head Cir 19.6 inches 97%. Weight 23.37 lbs  59% Percentiles.... She is a tall skinny baby! Well more like a toddler now. Everything checks out great and she is right on track for everything... what shocked me the most was the doctor told me that some toddler girls are fully potty trained by 15 months.... all i kept thinking was "yeah right". apparently some lady from Brandon's job, their daughter was potty trained by 18 months... well i don't think Taylor is ready at all... like i don't think she can comprehend the toilet process as of yet... maybe we will see when she is around 18 months but not any time soon... We are thinking about big girl bed by 18 months maybe sooner, she can climb on and off our couches.. and off our bed (our bed is too high to climb up) We will see how she is when we move into our new home. Here are a few pictures of our trip to the Peds office... She was all over the place, she had to get 3 shots and she was not a happy baby after that happened!!

Later on that evening Oma came over to hang out! We went to Starbucks!!! Pretty soon Taylor is going to be ordering Hot Chocolate in her mini-child Starbucks cup with mommy & oma!

Oma brought Taylor some brownies from her work party and it was like Birthday cake all over again, she just DEVOURED the chocolate brownie (like running and taking handfuls in her mouth!) Sometimes i will give taylor Oreo cookies or graham cracker cookies but i usually don't have any cake or brownies because brandon hates sweets which means if they are in my kitchen i have no self control over sweets (umm i guess like Taylor) and they would be ALL gone... so its a real treat when Oma comes over with Cupcakes and Brownies... Taylor shares too.. :) I have a photo of Taylor eating a chocolate cupcake from Oma... she has her fork like she is going to use it... (She rather use her hands!)

Nite, Nite....

Taylor did the strangest things today.... First around 11am she grabbed her passy and blanket and stood in the middle of the living room where brandon and I were and said "Nite, Nite" and just stood there and popped her passy in her mouth and held onto her blanket... Brandon and I both looked at each other like "did she just tell us she wants to go to bed?" So i grabbed her and put her in her crib, she laid down and went to sleep for her nap.

Second thing she did today that surprised me was when we got home from Walmart i left my keys on the coffee table and i am on my computer on the couch... i see her grab my keys off the coffee table and approach the front door, where she takes my car key and starts to bang it on the door knob (like trying to put the key in the door) We have not taught her this, but i'm sure the amount of times she has seen us put the keys in the door, it was enviable that she would learn that keys go in the door... i just sat there in amazement... month, by month she is growing so much more intellectual and makes me proud as a mom that she is learning new things everyday.

Taylor is starting to like dolls a lot more... she is starting to hold the dolls as if they are actually a real person... of course a few min later she will fling the doll accross the room... but its cute to see her cuddle and kiss (more like slobber) on the little dolls... my mom got taylor this mommy play all day baby bi-lignual doll for christmas...

This doll speaks both english and spanish and says 50 different phrases.... um it reacts to motion like flipping... laying down... pretty much what ever you do to this doll it will react... no offense mom... but this is the most annoying toy ever... hahahaha it goes off every 2 sec while taylor is carrying her around the house... the crazy thing that taylor has started to do is, this doll will sing "la, la, la te, da" well taylor will start to copy her... like she is trying to sing like the baby doll...  :)

It's crazy how my friends kids would start to talk and i would have to look at them like "WHAT is your kid saying?????" and their moms always knew what they were trying to say... well i suppose when you are around them 24/7 there strange words make since... taylor can say so many words that i know what she means but to another person they would think of it as baby jibber jabber... so Taylor you are 15 months and you can say momma, dada, duck, GO, cougar, sock, shoe, baby, bear, nite-nite, outside, so many more i don't even remember... you can make the noises of a lot of animals and learning so many more new things everyday! 

These few pictures are of taylor tonight she kept wanting to put her seahorse in her baby blanket and carry it around the living room like a baby... so precious... times like these make me want a zillion kids... then when she is screaming all over the place and destroying my house i can only think, i am so glad i only have 1 right now! haha...

AWE today Taylor and I had some fun playing dress up today! Last night i made these lovely Brown Corduroy Mary-Janes and they have Leopard ruffles on the toe... super cute for just an everyday shoe! I should be working on the new spring shoes but i got distracted by this trim and started to make them :) I should have the new Spring shoes out sometime next week maybe 2 weeks at the most depending on how much free time i get. These are from today...

Just a little update on our new home!!! Lot 86!!!

It seems like the construction is moving pretty fast every time we go out to the house it seems like its almost done even though there is a lot more to do!!! :)

Happy New Years... Holy Moly its 2011!

Last night was New Years Eve... My mom and dad came over to hang out we watched a couple of movies, the guys drank some beer and me and my mom had some wine. My dad brought over a bunch of fireworks, we blew them off around 8pm because Taylor had to go to bed soon... so she only stayed outside for 2 or 3 and then she got scared so my mom and Taylor went inside.  It was nice to hang out! My parents didn't last until midnight it got too late so they went home around 10:30pm.... Brandon and I  stayed up to watch the ball drop... and that was pretty much how we brought in the New Year!! So my New Years resolution is to lose 15 pounds....Brandon and I want to have another baby... maybe in 2012.. but i need to loose these 15 pounds (to be back at my pre-pregancy weight) so i won't keep getting bigger... YIKES... so i have a full year to eat right and get back on the p90x bandwagon! Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years!
