Is it Christmas Yet?!?!?!

Tis the season.. and I'm already almost done shopping for Christmas!! Shopping for a 1 year old is pretty hard, also there toys are not as much fun... so i have decided that i am going to buy whatever i think is cool and she will grow into it! HA! i mean i got her a few toys she can play with now... but most of her gifts are 24 months + she is almost 14 months so that means less toys i have to get her later..hahaha. This christmas is going to be so much fun because there is finally a kid who can enjoy unwrapping gifts, i think she will be able to unwrap gifts... all i know is Christmas is BIG in my family... so i plan on making Christmas BIG in my little family as well... its like you save all year for one huge day, just to see a giant smile on my hubby/ daughters face makes it all worth it :) The day of, or after Thanksgiving we always set up the Christmas tree... Traditions, and I plan on keeping those traditions so one day Taylor can say "mom, do we have to???" hahahaha Just like i did to my mom and dad! I bought my very first tree when i got my first single girl apartment in Maple Hills when i turned 21... it was an itty bitty tree... and that is the tree that Brandon and I have used... Next christmas when we have our house we are going to buy a better, fuller, and less Charlie Brown like Christmas Tree... our tree comes up to my nose and i am 5'9... so next year, who ever wants a tiny skinny 5'9 tree is more then welcome to have it! :)

Last year when Taylor was born, i bought her own christmas tree... YES, the tree is pink and its fabulous!! it has lights and everything... i found it at Kohl's for $20 last year! Every year i plan on buying 1 ornament and sticking it on her tree... and anyone else who gets her one will go on that tree as well... this year i got her little ballerina slippers for her tree. Here is Daddy and Taylor setting up her tree (we moved her tree into her bedroom)

Here is a cute video of Daddy & Taylor setting up her Christmas Tree!

Since Daddy set up Taylor's tree, he said that i had to set up ours... LOL. i didn't mind, i like to decorate! my little shabby tree turned out pretty good! All decorations were bought over the years at the dollar tree.. and last year i bought "e" 'b" and "t"  initials at Kohl's for our tree, i haven't bought a new ornament this year yet. This is Taylor & Mommy putting the star on the tree... woah i look pretty rough, it was the end of the day... haha.

This picture below is for pure laughter... i left the vacuum down the hall, while i put away the Thanksgiving decorations i come back and she had knocked over the vacuum and apparently thinks its a car or pony... LOL. she was rocking back and forth like it was suppose to go... haha. Hilarious. (she just got out of the tub, that is why her hair is all wet)

New Christmas shoes! "Joy"

Our Thanksgiving!!!

Oh how I just love the holidays!!! Its so nice that we have both families who live in a 10-45min radius... Makes it perfect to hang out with the grandparents! I just love how Taylor has grandparents, i never really had grandparents... my grandma (my dad's mom) was in my life for a split second... but with being a military brat everyone drifted apart... so i am so glad that i get these moments with everyone together and take lots of pictures of course! This Thanksgiving was really special.. my older brother and his wife came into town from VA, and my little brother came into town from Colorado.. so the entire family was under one roof... rare.... so it was a very special Thanksgiving... :)

Here are a few pictures of Thanksgiving over at my parents house...

Taylor was trying to feed Ricky and Grandpa her snacks

Lita setting up the dinner table for Thanksgiving

i think Taylor was running away from brandon...haha...

Taylor was only 2 months when she had her first Thanksgiving... so this year is her first year to actually eat thanksgiving dinner.

Lita experimenting giving taylor a corn on the cob... she loved it... i don't think she got hardly any corn but she enjoyed trying to get the corn off the cob :)

ahhh naked baby!!! haha.. all done and cleaned up after thanksgiving

We went to Oma's & Opa's for Thanksgiving dinner, i made sure to leave room for their dinner, it was delish!!!... Taylor pretty much ate everything on her plate, she even enjoyed her Cheesecake dessert!!

Mckenzie & Opa!

After dinner Taylor took her bath...McKenzie looked like she wanted to jump right in and play!!

Oma, McKenzie & Taylor!!! Its getting really hard to get Taylor to look at the camera...haha

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!

AWWWWW.... Look at Taylor at last years Thanksgiving, she was 2 months old...

Made by Oma Beckner

Seriously.... Miss Taylor Kate is going to have such a creative gene... its inevitable... Between both sets of grandparents Taylor is probably going to be the next Picasso at age 3 ... LOL. Taylor's Oma sews too and does amazing work... if you went over to her house you would be surprised that she sewed every single drape in her home.... she made this cute dress for Taylor... She is going to teach me how to make these bows that she put on Taylor's dress so i can put them on some of my shoe styles... i've seen a few "you tube" tutorials on these kinds of bows, so i get it a little... but its always easier when its right in front of you!! :)

Its so hard to get a picture of Taylor just standing still she is either sitting or walking...my little mover :)
Love the little wooden buttons on her scoop neck dress.

Taylor LOVES her Olivia book :)

the other night Brandon thought it would be cute to put Taylor in his work shirt... she looked so strange but so cute... kind of confusing she looked like a little man elf... haha..

Here is a little video of taylor the man elf... haha.

This is a really short video of Taylor taking her first Bubble Bath with Mommy & Daddy!

2 more days until Thanksgiving... can't wait for all that yummy food!!!

Splish Splash!!!!

How cute is Taylor with her Bubbles!!! She loves bubble baths... a couple weeks ago she stayed at Lita's and Granpa's house and they bought bubbles (they beat me, i kept forgetting to get some at the grocery store) so this was her second experience with bubbles... We got her some Dora bubbles that smelled like Strawberry... i was going to get "Mr. Bubbles" that is what i used to have when i was little but the only kind i could find was the Mr.Bubbles without the sent... um-no- the sent is the best part of the bubble bath!! haha!!!! so bubbles baths were a hit, and she had so much fun!

She tried to stick her face in the bubbles to eat them and came out with a goatee beard. If you zoom in this picture you can tell Taylor has Hazel eyes.. they are a mixture of Green & Brown... so we are going to stick with Hazel!!!! :)

I think i put way too much bubble stuff in the tub! haha.

Eating Mr. Ducky!

Ahh all done with her bath in her cute out fit, Brandon said it looked like a christmas bow was on top of her head, its a Korker Bow and i think it looks cute! :)

She is walking so much now, its crazy! She would rather walk then crawl!! She is crawling all over the couch.. she has learned to get on and get off the couch. She can't get on my parents couch yet because it's too high... but apparently our couches are perfect climbing height... she has been crawling up the stairs a while now... but apparently she just learned how to crawl down the stairs... of course we have to be right behind her because, one slip and she would fall down the stairs... scary! She is still working on her "words" no news ones that i can tell.. But a new thing she is doing is "Taylor, where are my eyes...where are my eyes?" She will look at you and poke you in the eyes!!! We are working on nose... sometimes she will squeeze your nose but she rather tell you where your eyes are. She has this book that we have been reading to her at night... its called "Toes, Ears. & Nose" Lift Flip Book... well it has eyes too... so she loves to lift the flaps up... she has ripped a few of the flaps off... but i think she might have learned the where are her eyes from this book, or maybe baby Einstein... Who knows... she is so smart!! So Yes for anyone who wants to get Taylor an Christmas gift, I think the perfect gift would be a Book! They are so freaking expensive too...LOL... That is probably why she can tell me where her eyes are because its between that book, Olivia the pig, and Llama Llama, Red Pajama, and I love you this much...  that we read to her at bedtime. She loves books and she loves being read too... she loves to flip the pages and sometimes where we are not in the room we will leave her cardboard books (they won't tear if she gets a hold of them) on the floor and she will go in there and just flip the pages by herself. I hope she enjoys reading... i hate to read... i always saw reading a work and school work... so never enjoyed it, i'd rather play Barbies..LOL... So i plan on getting Taylor to enjoy books hopefully she will LOVE to read :)

Hope Everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!

New Blog!!

Welcome to "My Kind of Therapy"!!!!!  LOL...(more like cheap therapy!)  really i suppose that is what a blog is about, kind of a personal journal....somewhere to share life stories about me and my family,  and do a little venting. One day Taylor can look back on this personal blog and see a little bit about our life when she was little (I don't remember anything about my childhood before 5 years old) I decided to change my blog title because this blog is about my life and my family... It was "Little Posh Bebe" but that is more of a business blog not really a family blog. SOoooo i decided to change it a bit!! I created everything on this blog, so its all me! Of course i borrowed a template (you can go to it at the bottom of the blog) but i did all the other work... about 3 days ago and you tube tutorials/ blog tutorials i figured out how to redo my layout by myself.. geeze... that was a pain... but i love it, its simple and pretty! of course there will still be plently of photos still!!! If you don't like it you can always go (HERE) and learn about some other kind of news... hope to see you back! I will post later about Taylor's Bubble Bath experience!!!!

Craft Show Portland, TN.

This was Little Posh Bebe's first craft show!! I have never been to Portland, TN.... i knew that is where my sister in law was from, she is the one who introduced me to Craft Fairs. Friday Taylor and I drove up to Portland, TN to set up for the show that was one Saturday. Beth & I shared a booth considering this was our first show we didn't know what to expect.

This is Taylor watching Baby Einstein on the way up to Portland... it was an hour and thirty min drive... overall she did pretty well! I can't thank oma & opa enough for the dvd player, its our saving grace for our sanity in the car :)

Beth's Mom helped us watch McKenzie and Taylor while we unloaded the car... i kept thinking about it while we were driving up there how we were going to unload 2 cars with all our stuff and tables with a baby and a toddler... thankfully beth's momma was there!! Also Beth's dad came by and brought us some of his tables so we could use them for our booth, they had a little boy with them i think that it was Beth's nephew... he looked like he was 8 maybe older but Taylor was outta control now that she can walk/crawl she decided that she wanted to explore and she was just going everwhere, i don't know what i was thinking... i thought she would sit still and eat cookies, boy was i wrong... but thankfully this little boy i didn't even catch his name... he kept Taylor busy for about 30 min while i could set up my table, it was so cute he would run around these chairs and Taylor would speed crawl to try and catch him... he went up to his mom and say "Boy, she can sure crawl fast!" haha... she was walking too, but if she wants to get anywhere in a hurry she just crawls... two days ago she learned how to CLIMB on our couch so she is all over the place!!!!

This was friday, Taylor did not come with me on Saturday the day of the craft show there would be no way i could of stayed from 8am-5pm... well i didn't get to the craft show until 9:30am because i set my alarm for 5:30pm instead of 5:30am... so i got a very late start when my momma called me at 7:30am and asked me about Taylor....Yikes!!!! But mom and dad drove up to Portland and walked around the craft fair, and Taylor got crabby so they didn't stay very long, but it was nice to see them :)

Little Posh Bebe & Blue Clover Designs Craft Fair Tables (My dad made the stand that my shoes are displayed on, i made everything else..lol) Beth came up with the cute idea to use her metal dress form (part decoration of McKenzie's nursery wall) to display the Georgia outfit!

Little Posh Bebe Banner from VistaPrint... You can Get a FREE banner from VistaPrints you only have to pay shipping which is $10.00 and the banner is vinyl so it is good quality and will last a long time :)

I enjoyed my first craft fair! Sales were not too successful, apparently the other vendors weren't selling as well this year either... but i think little posh bebe will do most of it's business on Etsy and if there are any other craft fairs out there i would love to do it again, because it was just fun!!!

This is Me and McKenzie,  I took the picture and totally cut myself out of the picture... but we are in pink and we kinda match :) I think she looks so much like Kyle (Brandon's Brother)... :) The Beckner genes are pretty strong because Taylor looked so much like Brandon.. i believe, or make myself believe that Taylor looks like me more and more everyday... hahaha :)

Dear Mom & Dad...

I just wanted to tell you that you are the greatest parents EVER!!!!

Soo.. Let me tell you how cool/ creative my dad is... while he was in Texas (for forever) i sent him a text message picture that had an idea of what i needed for my craft room... I need something that holds all my thread and ribbon... my ribbon usually sits in my closet and i usually forget which ones i have because they are just thrown in a box, then i buy double, then i have an overwhelming stash of ribbon!! haha... So he made me this semi-light Ribbon/Thread Holder that i can put on my wall so i can see everything i have!!! I am OCD about organization, everything has a place... and finally organization... I had him paint it black so my ribbon and thread colors would stand out more when i look at my wall... also the colors in my craft room are Fushia & Black so it looks perfect on my wall!!!

This picture does no justice for how cool this is, there is also a shelf that i plan on putting picture frames on top of it :) I thought i had a lot of ribbon, but when i put my thread and ribbon up... i think i need more...haha

My blog has been a little neglected and actually i don't have any new pictures of Taylor either... YIKES! The Beckner house has been pretty busy this past month!!! Right now I have a super large wholesale order that i have been working day and night, also i have a craft show that i am doing with Beth that i have been working on as well...  My Dad also built me this 3 step shelf (not really sure what to call it) but its for my shoes that i can put them on this shelf for my craft table, i will make sure to take pictures of the craft show and post them on the blog! I think it will be fun, and something different other then etsy :)
So i guess that is where my creative side comes from... my dad :) he can pretty much make anything you can think of, especially wood!! and of course my since of style for my little shoes would come from my fashionista momma... seriously she has more style then me, and she is 27 years older then me, she calls me the other day... well couple weeks ago, and said we need to get some "True Religion" jeans... Ahhh I just love my mom, I hope when i am in my 50s i am keeping up with the fashions and my daughter thinks i am still cool (remember mom we had this conversation the other night!!) ... you will never see my momma in a Moo-Moo! hahaha. Dad you better watch out... remember Taylor calling mom a "Cougar" hahahahahaha (Cougar is my parents Pomeranian dog, Taylor has been yelling Cougar for a while and is calling all dogs "cougars")
So another big change that is happening in our life in the next couple of months is we are buying a house!!! YES.. we will finally have a back yard for ms. Taylor Kate... well i think by the time we move into the house spring will be around the corner... i am so happy that we are going to be able to get a house... Taylor is getting to the point where she is walking more and more (today she learned how to CLIMB on the couch!!! happens so fast!) So i can't wait to get her a swing set and an actual neighborhood to drive her little mini-car around... ahhh so many plans running though my head... We have already looked at so many houses... as soon as brandon gets off work we go and check out homes or drive around neighborhoods ect.... so far we have found 1 house we LOVE... we are going to narrow it down to 3 so we can choose the best one :) And i just want the entire world to know, Thanks mom and  dad for helping us make this happen!!! I know you stalk my blog dad and check up on Taylor (i don't think mom reads the blog) but you know you are the best mom & dad in the ENTIRE world!!!! dad, we don't have sit down conversations, and we don't really chit-chat on the phone... and there is no way i can pay you back for all the amazing things you do for me.. but i know, you know that i love you and mom very much... also dad, did you really think mom could keep a secret... LOL... you guys have been married for how long?? I kept talking on and on to mom about the Crabbe Construction guy how nice he was to give us that when we moved in this apt, well mom spilled your beans, like 6 months ago... i guess she thought he didn't deserve all the praise... sneaky sneaky... thanks pops your the greatest! Im sure mom had something to do with it too!! haha... SOOO November has been a pretty busy month so far... I wonder what December will bring to this family????? We shall see!

I have to post at least one picture of my little munchkin..

~Good Night~

Happy Halloween!!! (couple days late!)

Wow i can't believe its already been a year since last halloween, man time is sure flying by!!! This is my precious kitty kat... only 3 weeks :)

Ahhh i blinked and she is 1 year and 3 weeks old!!! She was a baby lamb this year! The costume sorta looks like a bunny too...  haha

This year halloween was on the 30th at Ft.Campbell... Taylor is still too small to trick or treat... so Lita, Taylor and I went for a stroll around the neighborhood to check out all the decorations and costumes.. Some people went all out for halloween, this one house had a bubble machine and the house down from that had a fog machine... it looked so cool. I just love when people get excited about the holidays and celebrate! Next year Taylor will be walking so she will be able to go trick- or- treating with all the other kids :)

mom got Taylor a shirt that says "Spending time with you id the greatest thing to do" ....

Halloween was the first time she ever had a lollipop... it was enjoyable to watch her devour the dum-dum ...

Cute picture of Taylor in her jammies!

Halloween day we went to Oma's and Opa's house :)  We brought Taylor's car over so she could ride outside, it was a beautiful day :) She still won't hold the button down so the car can go, so we have to push it with the handle... she still loves it though.

Brandon took this picture, i thought he would have got a better picture but i guess my camera does not zoom in that far... Taylor was acting really fussy so Opa took her outside to play in the leaves :)

YUM!!!! Oma's infamous dessert after dinner... this is the only time i get dessert because brandon hates sweets (so i never bake)... so i always look forward to her new creation dessert she makes after dinner (don't get me wrong i look forward to her dinner too, she is an amazing cook!) this dessert was a brownie layered yummy-ness... haha... I think the brownie had coffee in it... because Taylor stayed up ALL night, i'm talking 3am...but when she finally fell asleep she woke up at 9:30am! (that is super late!)

can you tell she likes it?????

Hope everyone had a fun halloween!!!! Sorry i have not been posting that often, Beth (my sister-in-law) and I are going to be doing a craft fair out in Portland, TN on Nov 13 Saturday... YIKES i have like 9 days to get everything together... i'm not freaking out or anything, i am just OCD about planning... hahaha :) So if your in Portland, TN on Nov 13... come check out the craft fair!!!!!!!!!
