So Close...

Aww here is my baby girl looking super cute today! A beautiful outfit from her mam-maw... the hat is 6-12 months, I think Taylor has a big head... hahahahaha.... She is still beautiful !!! (We usually put a blanket or pillows around her because even though she sits on her own.... she tends to fall back and she just lets go and bangs her head, everytime... so we try and protect her little head until she gets stronger to catch herself)




The Protector.... I was taking a shower while Taylor was taking her nap and i guess i closed my bedroom and bathroom door so Bosley had no where to go... when i got out of the shower i heard Taylor wining in her crib (letting me know that she is awake and come get her!) and her door was open ( i always crack her door closed) so i guess bosley decided to keep her company... i have never seen him do this before...




Taylor is so close to crawling... everyday it seems like she learns another step to learning how to crawl... today it was her scooting her bootie... lol... she would just stick her bum way up in the air and then she would get pissed because she couldn't go anywhere...





Tragic... could this possibly be the start of thumb sucking?... omg it better not be. Personally i hate it when children suck on their thumb... to each its own if you have a child and love them sucking their thumb... i guess it was the way i was brought up, fingers/ thumbs do not go in the mouth... Taylor is not attached to her passy... she will grab it and put it in if she finds it, but she won't go crazy if she dosn't have it... the only time i give it to her is when i am trying to put her to sleep and she doesn't want her bottle. Her top two teeth are coming in, you can see white through her gums so she bites her thumb and chews on her index and middle on the side of her mouth... hopefully this thumb chewing is a phase just like everything else she has gone through :) those little phases went by so fast... :(




This is what happens when mommy is not supervising daddy.... HAHAHA j/k.. he told me he was going to do it, i just didn't believe him....Brandon put his hair gel in Taylor's hair... Its so crazy i can't get over how thin her hair is, considering i have thick dark hair and brandon has very thick blonde hair. I love them so much, they are so silly!

my little rollie pollie....

Taylor has not learned the concept of crawling yet.... but oh she is so close!!! We usually put her ball, or her favorite... iphone or remote in front of her and she just looks like a fish out of water... her back legs are just flipping and flopping... She has learned that instead of moving those arms and legs to get where she needs to go, she has figured if she keeps rolling and turning she can get to her destination... This morning, strangly as i grabbed my cup of coffee... i noticed Bosley took his toy and put it within reaching distance of taylor, and she was trying sooo hard to grab his toy and bosley would just watch her... it was really cute, like he was teaching her to crawl or something... i feel for Bosley... taylor will grab his ears and have a handful of dog hair, she grabs the dog with her legs and puts Bosley in a headlock and Bosley does nothing just licks her hands and feet.... hahaha he really is a great dog, other than his breath!!!!




We figured since Taylor knew how to eat a pickle i have been wanting to try the "teething Biscuits" and the "puffs" well i went to Target to grab some and the biscuits said they are for 10months and should be crawling. The Puffs said they should be crawling... but i figure as long as she is sitting up eating the puffs they should be fine, i suppose i'll just hold off on the biscuits because im not sure if they melt in the mouth like the puffs. Taylor Loves the puffs... when she goes to grab the puffs she rakes them and tries to put them in her mouth, but they get stuck to her hand...haha... she hasn't learned the pinching grasps yet, the doctor said most babies learn around 9 months. So most of he puffs went on the floor and Bosley had a nice treat!




While Brandon was on the computer, i was paying attention to what he was doing... i noticed that taylor just kept rolling and rolling and rolling... until she got to her destination... which was the window with the long curtains in the living room... she was just pulling, rolling, laughing... just having a good time, i started playing peek a boo and grabbed my camera because i thought it was too cute.

Do you like Pickles???

Taylor sure does!!! Today we went and grabbed some lunch/dinner at this sandwich shop we always go to... and they always give us a pickle with our sandwich. I never eat mine, i love pickles but not with a sandwich. I let Taylor lick on it.. and brandon was like just give it to her... im thinking, she is going to choke because she only has two teeth. Taylor was LOVING this pickle... she was taking her bottom two teeth and dragging them against the pickle to get some in her mouth...hahaha... but every time she bit it we had to grab the piece out of her mouth because she has no teeth to actually chew the peice into a smaller amout, we don't want her to choke on a pickle! I started getting worried that she would, so i took it away from her... OMG, i should have not done that... she SCREAMED bloody murder... brandon was like give it back, give it back... hahaha... within a min she dropped the pickle on the floor and just looked over her high chair like "oh no, there goes my pickle" it was so cute i wish i had a video camera... good thing we had our camera on the iphone to capture taylor and her first real (non-mushy) food, a pickle..

Hardee's at the Park

Today was such a beautiful day, it was in the high 70s! (that is what my car said) it was still a little chilly in the shade, but taylor is finally going to be able to wear her cute summer dresses without her tights, can't wait :) Taylor's Mam-maw sent her two very cute outfits yesterday, so she got to wear her lovebug outfit to the park since it was warm and beautiful. She has so much fun.. well from the look of her face she seemed to have fun... we grabbed some Hardee's and ate it at the park and went on the swings... it was a great afternoon. By the way Hardees is soooo much better then burger king and mcdonald's. I've only had it twice but to me the burgers are way better (I shouldn't even be eating fast food!)!! Here are a few pictures of Taylor at the park today :)

Sweet Dreams

This is Taylor tonight after i put her down.... she doesn't like to sleep with a blanket or have a special "blankie" to cuddle up with... she loves to cuddle up with her burp cloth... haha strange, but while i feed her she like to put the burp cloth over her face and snuggle with it while she drinks... then i lay her down semi-awake and she snuggles with it... she never spits up so the burp cloth is alway clean so i don't see a problem with her attaching to it right now. We have been so blessed to have such a happy healthy baby... no ear infections, no diaper rashes, no sickness.... never has had a fever..... only sweet dreams :)

Bath Time!

Everyday it seems like Taylor has a new accomplishment!!! Yesterday was her first day she decided to play in the tub, most of the time she just sits there and relaxes as we give her a bath.... but for some reason last night she just started splashing and going crazy in the tub!!! She has never been able to keep her balance in the tub either until last night. Ah she is growing so fast!!! must be all the baby food she eats...haha. In the beginning of this video taylor is playing in her jenny jump up.. she loves that toy usually she can only stay in it for a min because she gets bored with it... but when she starts to play she has so much fun!!!

Lazy Day

Well today i decided to put Taylor in the laundry basket because she always wants to play with her ball but the ball always gets away from her and we have to go chase it and give it back to her... well this way the ball can't escape!!! plus she just looked so cute in the basket!!!! Taylor is also wearing my little ruffle jeans i made her!!! If she could stand they look way better when she stands up!

Wonderful Mothers Day!!!

Hope all the mommies and grand-mommies had a wonderful day!!! Don't you just WISH all days were mother's days??? HAHAHA i know i wore out the "You do it, its mother's day" sentence all day... Taylor has been acting up the past few days, just super fussy and waking up in the middle of the night... she never wakes up in the middle of the night but the past few nights it has been around 11pm then 5am and then i am up with her at 7:30am... and she is cranky all day!!! i think it is wearing off though... Yesterday was a pretty sweet day, it was really special. Brandon got me some flowers and a card (it was a funny card, cool points for that... sentimental cards are nice, but funny cards are better!) This card was perfect (hallmark thinks of everything! HA) and then all 3 of us went to the Olive Garden... i have never been a fan of olive garden because if i want to make spaghetti, that is like the only think i know how to make, so i rather go somewhere else... but i was craving some pasta... so we went and BOY I WAS MISSING OUT... OMG Olive Gargen is so YUMMY!!! hahaha... We over ate and it was delicious! Brandon needed to mow the yard, Brandon keeps up with the yard really well, but our neighbor on the left side.... um seriously you do not need to mow your yard every other day... because it makes our yard look unkept because there grass is always TOO perfect... after we cut our yard... we hear the people on the right side cut their yard... i suppose it is a chain reaction because nobody wants to have the ugly yard...haha. ANYWAYS... brandon did that and Taylor and I decided to take a stroll to target and get us (me and B) some coffee.. it was nice and sunny and 50 degrees. here are a few pictures of taylor getting ready to take a stroll...

a couple days ago a customer contacted me on etsy to see if i could make her daughter shoes for her 1st Birthday... she showed me the dress that she had made from an etsy shop called "josiekatstrunk" it was a little ducky dress. The customer wanted white shoes with a yellow bow... i decided to find the fabric the lady used on this dress and order a small amount to use as the soles of the shoes... just a cute little touch! Hope she likes them!! these are the shoes that match the dress!

Soccer Star...Maybe?

This is such a cute video... she might not know how to crawl to get that ball but she knows how to grab it with her feet!! Haha. Sorry about the mess in the background... if you know me, my house is NEVER dirty... everything is unorganized right now, boxes... toys.... random stuff just everywhere... kind of driving me nuts. But we managed to capture this moment on video and thought i would share this with the family.
