Taylor is starting to walk!!!!!

Yesterday when Brandon came home from work, Taylor would walk towards brandon with not much guidance, he was right in front of her and she was not holding on taking about 3-5 steps and falling down... Today Taylor just decided to stand up on her own, and start walking towards me.... She is still shaky on the walking, but i'm sure with practice and time she is going to be a pro!! I am so happy this day finally has come that she has decided to start walking!

Piper Shoes

Yesterday Taylor and I stayed in our jammies all day long.... I'm glad no one stopped by, and my mom rescheduled out commissary trip... we had tornado warnings all morning so we just didn't bother getting dressed... i did clean the entire house (omg even toilets!) and did laundry :) So yesterday wasn't a complete waste... It was just so gloomy and dark that it just felt right :) haha
Today we had no plans either... so i decided to make Taylor some shoes to match a little outfit i bought her at Target that was on sale... she has such short hair so i thought i would make her a cute rosette flower clip to match her little Piper shoes. It was beautiful outside, but with all the rain from yesterday the ground was very wet so we stayed on the pavement.. This morning when i let Bosley (my little Maltese) outside to do his business, he came back inside with red clay all over his paws... OMG what a mess!!! We live in a new construction apartment area (for now, that's another blog post!) and we have dirt all around us... so with the rain brought one nasty dog!!! Speaking of nasty dog,  off topic for just a moment... The UPS man came to the apt today he was dropping off Brandon's school books and Bosley ran up to him (UPS man is super nice, he knows brandon so i didn't freak out) and the UPS man was like "ah what a cute sweet dog" as he leans down to pet Bosley he say "boy, what is all over you?" i look at Bosley and there is Mac & Cheese all over his back there are actual mini-shells & cheese on his back... talk about embarrassing!!! I said as i opened my door widely and pointed to Taylor in her high chair in the kitchen... "I have a one year old and she likes to feed the dog, obviously she missed." he just laughed and gave me my package... So Bosley is due for a bath like right now!!!
After Taylor's nap we decided to go outside and take some pictures it was windy and really nice :) She just loves being outside.... :)

Pumpkin Patch!

A few days ago we went to Riverview Mounds Pumpkin Patch & Farm... it was so much fun! We got to see pig race (um that part smelt so bad!) You could feed animals, they had baby rabbits....Taylor was indiffernt about the baby rabbits... she hated all the other giant animals she would scream!! But around the tree was this duck and she screamed DOUK (duck)..... CAK CAK CAK (quack).... hahaha it was too cute!!! here are a few pictures of the pumpkin patch...

Yesterday was Taylor 1st day without a bottle... Taylor usually has a bottle when she goes down for a nap or when she is going down for bed... well i took all of Taylor's bottles and threw them in the trash (this would be the only way i wouldn't cave in and give her one) Well the attachment was really with me i suppose because she cried for 20 min before her nap and then went to sleep... bed time came and she went to sleep after 15 min of crying... tonight was the 2nd night of no bottle and she cried for maybe 2 min and just went to bed... so i guess she really didn't need the bottle to go to sleep... its just sad because my baby is now a little girl... no more bottles... what i really can't wait for is no diapers.. HAHAHA :)

Oh and Taylor has a new word she has been saying... Every time Taylor goes to my parents house they have a cookie jar with animal crackers... so when my dad holds her, he always goes "cookie, cookie, cookie" and hands her the open cookie jar for her to grab some animal crackers... well i bought some animal crackers for my place so she could have some cookies at home... well she started to say "CoCo, CoCo" every time i asked her if she wanted a Cookie... she would say CoCo... I have to get the video camera out because its so precious. She just LOVES CoCos!!!!

Yikes!!! Seems like my blog is on the fritz! It should look normal in a day or two, Hopefully!!

Hello Stranger!

Yikes! Its been a couple of days since i last wrote a blog :( I have been super busy with Little Posh Bebe! Orders and Wholesale orders have been keeping me busy during nap time and bedtime, so finally decided that tonight would be a great night to catch everyone up on what has been going on... ummmmm... a whole lot of nada... haha.
This is for my dad.... I know you stalk my blog!! Remember when mom called you to tell you that she was taking Taylor winter clothes shopping... well mom found something for GrandPa! Taylor's shirt says "Grandpa's #1 Girl" and we got her hair into little piggys!

We met Oma for starbucks and hung out until it started to rain (it hasn't rained in like a month!)

haha it looks like she is going to pick her nose... but she is not, still cute!

Taylor was starting to get fussy inside the house, so we decided to take her new car for a spin that she got for her birthday from Grandpa and Lita, she always gets in and out of it while its in the house... so we thought we would see how she does outside... she just loves being outside! This is daddy and Taylor test driving her car below... i have to say the only thing i miss about living in Wisconsin was that we lived in a house with a neighborhood and a backyard... now we have a parking lot to play in, but hopefully in a year or two we will be able to buy a house where ever Brandon gets a job either in Clarksville or Nashville :)

Ahh this video is too cute not to share... Taylor was just jamming out in the car, pretty much to any music... i have never heard of this song in the background but apparently Taylor Loved it! 

Shake what your momma gave ya!

HAHAHA... Too funny.... Every time Taylor hears music, from the ABC song to something that is playing on the radio she starts to shake to the music! Its too cute. This video only shows a small part of her dance because i only caught the last part of the song... but you get what i am trying to show you! She is such a doll and surprises me every day with some new talent!
***I was folding laundry, and Taylor is playing with a dryer sheet... that is what she is waving around!***

Speaking of Talent... look what Taylor learned how to do a few days ago... she can stand all by herself and even stand on her head... but she is still not walking yet.... ahhh she is so close though!!

October is the Last month that you get to wear you fashionable monthly onesies!!! You have grown so fast Taylor!!! I spent the last hour looking at pictures when i brought you home from the hospital and home videos that i have taken of you :) I love you baby girl!

It's My Party!! 1 Year Old Miss Taylor Kate!

YAY!!!! We had such a wonderful time at Taylor's 1st Birthday Party, i have been a little M.I.A. from this blog... I made a bunch of cupcakes for her party that took what seemed like forever, well an entire morning/afternoon... then my hair straightener broke so my mom offered to take me to the mall to get taylor some sweaters and a hair straighter... in all the rushing around the mall as i am standing in line at old navy my flip flop break... yeah... crazy day, but everything got done for the preparation of her party! LET's see.. we will start from the beginning... We started the morning off by making cupcakes!! She was on my leg the entire time... i know she smelt the awesome-ness of cupcakes, so why not let her eat some cake batter (just a tiny bit)... we had to test taste it to make sure it was going to be good for her guest! (oh, all utensils were washed after she licked them..LOL i made 3 different flavor of cupcakes/cake)

Umm... Yes it was like 9am and you are eating a little bit of strawberry cake batter... you LOVED it... actually you screamed when i took the spatula away from you!!

Can you Tell you LOVE chocolate? Just like her momma! This was cake number 2! 

Daddy Just had to let you take the handmade Pink buttercream frosting. YUM! 

Her party was wonderful! We had it over at Oma's and Opa's house and everything was decorated so nicely and everyone who was invited showed up! It was such a special day for Taylor!! 

The cupcakes turned out awesome... they had little cupcake toppers that said "Taylor" "Look who's One" and First Birthday" I made her a giant cupcake as her smash cake!  

Oma made homemade Sangria! It was soooo good!! Oma & Auntie Beth made Taylor's first candle in the back what a cute centerpiece!

This is one of the gifts that brandon and I got Taylor for her birthday... a ball tent... she loves to play in this... She got so many awesome gifts that it would take forever to put all the photos of her gifts and party... but it was a wonderful day and i am so glad that Taylor had close friends and family to celebrate her first birthday!!! I Love You Taylor!!!!
