Nashville Zoo

After we stopped in Pleasant View to see McKenzie and Beth & Kyle yesterday, We decided to go to the Nashville Zoo... the weather was perfect and it was right around 85.... towards the end of the trip (and it seemed like most of the nashville zoo was on an upward hill) the temp felt a lot higher, pushing that stroller uphill was a killer. It was so worth it though!!! The first couple of pictures we started off in the Bird cage... i don't think it was called that, but you went into this giant cage that the birds flew around you, Taylor just stared i don't know what she was thinking! haha

Next stop was the elephants, to me the elephants looked super old... but they were cool looking!

Taylor Loves to stand up in her stroller... we have her strapped in, just not around the arms.

Okay now we approach the Monkeys.... there was some kind of marital dispute going on, because you could hear these monkeys all over the zoo... they were screaming at each other like crazy!!! The black money was swinging from limb to limb yelling at the White monkey who sounded like a female because her voice was super high pitched... i think everyone in the park was swarming around these monkeys to see what they were screaming at.... apparently just at each other! LOL





Taylor decided to take a nap right before the Zebras.... she was OUT! Taylor has such beautiful long dark eyelashes... i hope they stay.....



When Taylor woke up from her nap we stopped at the mini-petting zoo they had.

That was the end of the Zoo... Brandon was playing around with the stroller with taylor, she was just hanging out... haha


While we were walking to our car Taylor started waving to the ground, i was so confused... until i saw her shadow waving back at her... then daddy decided to wave too :) we had such a fun day at the Nashville Zoo!

Story Told by..... TAYLOR!!



This was Pre-Mckenzie... just waiting for her to come!!!





Well it started off by visiting Aunt Beth and Uncle Kyle before Mckenzie arrived, i thew a bunch of toys on the ground and made them all pick them up for me... then i got hungry so i had Oma feed me





We then, moved down stairs to the waiting room so i ate a snack, cheerios my favorite! I played indian with my arm and kicked back in my stroller.... for like 2 hours... i was very patience for McKenzie to arrive! :)







Oma and I shared and read magazines together...




Then we moved to a different waiting room after mommy and oma grabbed some Starbucks. I found this new toy that kept me entertained for quite a while!







McKenzie is BORN!... YAY at 6:41pm



We couldn't go up just yet, so my bedtime was approaching..oh no 7:30pm.... i was OUT!







**Update** I got to meet my new BFF (best friend forever) haha... today the following day after they got home from the hospital and McKenzie started to Cry, then I Cried... then we both cried... then she went to sleep and i played.... THE END.

Oh... and still no baby for Beth and Kyle... They have so much patience, i bet the excitement of meeting the new little girl is driving them mad, i know it did for Brandon and I.. we couldn't wait to meet Taylor! Tomorrow is a new day.. :)

New Talent!

Within 2 weeks Taylor has learned to crawl, speed crawl, and pull herself up on to just about anything... and now as of 2 days ago she learned to get down from standing she used to cry cry cry until i came to pick her up, or she would just plop down on her butt.. but now she squats and then sits down... ahh make her stop growing!! I do, but don't want her to grow up! Yesterday we went to see my mom and dad at there new home on base, brandon was helping my dad move this heavy t.v. upstairs. WELL guess who decided to start crawling up the stairs??? TAYLOR!! i mean 2 weeks ago she could barley crawl!! What Happened?? My dad helped Taylor up the stairs, because she has no balance... but she gets up every single step! We have to start bringing our dog/baby gate to my parents and B's parents because they both have stairs! :)







When we got home yesterday Brandon gave Taylor a bath... this is how much hair she has now...

So Blessed...

I am so blessed to have such a beautiful healthy daughter... Everyday she changes a bit, and her hair seems to get longer each day :) More beautiful then the day before... Love Love Love her so much!!!
Taylor's Oma got her this beautiful smocking dress!! She had a white bow in her hair and she kept pulling it out... so i put the tiny green one in, for some reason she leaves the small bows in her hair but if they are any bigger then that she pulls them out.





This is Taylor's evil look telling me to leave her alone!! hahahaha.



Tonight for dinner i decided to make a meal that me and Taylor could eat together (brandon had to work tonight) so i made Spaghetti!! She LOVED it, she was so messy...i think there is tomato sauce on my ceiling!


she was just scattering her spaghetti everywhere. (also anything with red sauce tends to stain her highchair table... i don't know why... i scrub it and scrub it and it won't come out )



Yay tomorrow is the weekend and brandon is off all weekend.... i bet ________ (beth's daughter, Opa does not know her name yet, i don't know if he looks at the blog or not, so i am going to leave the name out) but I bet she will have her this weekend... :)

Almost...

Today we went to Lunch today with Oma, Brandon had the afternoon off so we decided to drive into town to run a couple errands and meet up with Mrs. Darla for lunch. This is Taylor with Moms keys ready to go!



For the past 3 or 4 days Taylor has started to stand up on her hands and feet, then she just plops backwards... she is trying to stand so bad by herself without holding on to anything but its just not working out for her, not just yet :) she will get the hang of it pretty soon... it was just a few weeks ago where she started crawling now she is speed crawling all over the house, and pulling herself up on just about anything that will hold her. this is her trying to stand by herself....





Haha this is bosley being cute, he likes to take taylor's balls and hide them under the couch and then he just chills under there... he is crazy! Taylor just loves bosley to death... they are BFF's well until Beth and Kyle's daughter gets here she will have someone like her to play with!!!!

Taylor is wearing a cute little outfit from her Mam-maw, we went to wal-mart that day and she was being cute in the cart, i think she was actually being good in wal-mart that day, usually i am speeding through the store before she has a melt down :)




A few days ago we went to Oma and Opa's house to have dinner with them and Kyle and Beth... the first picture is actually pretty funny... i didn't know this picture was taken when i was looking through my camera but i'm pretty sure beth took this picture because she was sitting right there, i went to change taylor in the living room and she is a wiggle worm when she gets her diaper changed...well she decided to twist on her stomach and somehow she peed all in her hair, babies are so dirty! hahaha!! Taylor LOVES baths/water... and now getting her hair washed!!



While we were at there house they got this game... i forgot what it was called... Beth thought i was crazy because i have never heard/played this game before...but it was really fun!! At the time Beth was almost 40 weeks soo we were hoping she would go into labor... well that didn't happen :( poor girl is 40+ weeks and a few days right now and everyone is so impatient to meet her!! Hopefully she will be here soon :) In the picture below Taylor is hanging out in her little lawn chair that oma got her, this chair is so cool because its so low to the ground that she can just crawl out of it if she really wanted to. She looks so grown up siting in her little chair... ahh time is going by so fast!!! if you look close at the picture you can see the board with the "T" that is the game... you play with these little bags and you try to get it in the hole... Mrs. Darla rocked at that game, she put everyone to shame... we were driving home and Brandon was like "Man i really wanted to play another game!" it was like 11pm... hahaha.
