Little Posh Bebe Clothing

I made Taylor a few outfits/headbands... so i think i might sell this on my etsy shop because they are cute... they will be in sizes 0-18 months... and i will be selling the headbands too! I made everything Taylor is wearing except the yellow onesie.. i have so many projects that i want to work on but i have no time... i start something and usually don't finish it because it gets too late... Taylor wears me out during the day!!! I never work on sewing during the day because i don't want to ignore Taylor so i leave it for night-time... well... after an hour of sewing i'm just ready to go to bed....LOL. Ma-Ma

Taylor's first word is Ma-Ma... I am really excited about this!! haha.... Plus we have been saying it over and over and over to see if it will stick... and a few days ago she was sitting on brandon's lap and i was in the kitchen fixing a bottle and she said it!! Of course she has no idea what it mean... and the past two days she didn't say it again... well today she started saying it... i tried getting it on film, but she wasn't having it!!! As soon as i put the camera away she started to talk, well i had the baby monitor out and when she woke up from her nap, she started talking and that is all she would say :) here is a little video of what i could get of her saying "Ma-Ma"

What is today???

Seriously I have no idea what day of the week it is... the only way i can tell if it is a weekend or weekday is if Regis and Kelly doesn't come on... I really have no reason to know the days of the week anymore. When i worked i would count down the days until the weekend! So i made another pair of ankle booties... this will probably be the last pair i make for a while until the other ones sell... I am going to make some clothes in the mean time... haha.

Today Taylor and I went to Kohl's to buy Brandon a few work shirts.. then we went to Starbucks and brought him coffee at work... Taylor is becoming my shopping buddy... she really is my BFF... she is slowly growing out of her fussy all the time fits... fingers crossed... here is a pic of my cutie today... i was looking all over for a jean skirt and found one at old navy for $10 she has little leggings on... kinda cool here still and it makes changing her diaper way easier than tights.

a new day....

Brandon got home last night from work and looked for bosley till 1am and then periodically he got up to check the back door to see if he was there... nothing... so this morning he called the Animal shelter and i went on ChippewaValleylostdog.org and we listed Bosley... Brandon sent out an e-mail to the neighborhood lady to spread the word... so we went out and looked for bosley this morning and looking for a 6 pound white dog is like a needle in a haystack... so all we could do is hope!!

Later today we decided to go to Onalaska, WI to go to Hobby Lobby.... i just love that place!! I got a bunch of little decorations for my sewing room, and some more fabric... Im serious i have so much fabric and too many projects in my head and not enough time to do it.... WHY can't the Oma, Opa & Abuelia & Grandpa live next door??? Life would be so much easier..... just like one day out of the week to have one day to just sew... haha, i suppose i could be doing that now but the drive to onalaska was an hour and 30 min and we were there most of the day and just being in the car makes you tired... so i decorated my room a bit, then i am just writing on my blog tonight. Brandon and I were thinking about how in 2 years when he is done with school and we move back to TN, we are going to have so much stuff from trying to fill up this house that we are going to need to rent a massive storage unit or, maybe sell everything on craigslist.

LaCross, WI is a pretty big town that is outside of Onalaska so we decided to drive around downtown to see what was down there... also check out the riverwalk it was so windy that is was freezing so we walked to the river and got back in the car because it was too cold!!!

While we were there Brandon got a phone call from the Animal Shelter... and they said they think they found bosley and to come on down to see if that is him and they close at 7pm...and it cost $31 for him staying there (yeah like a few hours!!)and $64 if we couldn't make it by 7pm, so we were an hour and 30 min away and it was already 5:30pm... so we hurried up and got in our car and drove back to Eau Claire trying to make it there before 7pm... we really got there at 6:55pm.... Insane... andddddd it was BOSLEY!!!! we were so relieved that it was him. we have to carefully watch him when he goes outside since we do not have a fence and apparently he likes to run away now... we have lived here for 2 years and he never strayed... and now he wants to run??? crazy dog.

I was taking photos of my baby on the way home... she was fussy so i rode in the back with her... i took a photo of her 2 teeth that are coming in... not even 6 months and has 2 teeth... my baby girl is growing... i haven't gotten a chance to camcorder her saying ma-ma... everytime i bring it out... she gets stage fright and is quite... i will catch it...!!!!!!

Our dog ran away again... its 11:51pm and he is still missing... he has been gone for like 30min... i will let you know if he returns... i have no idea why he keeps running off!!!

Hello Monday

Brandon is on spring break so he decided to go golfing (it was a nice day today, high 50s) then we met up at Red Lobster for Lunch-Dinner... Then we decided to take taylor for a stroll downtown, i wanted to check out this fabric store called "Calico Shop" OMG there is so much pretty fabric in that store, and pretty much everything you would ever need (fabric-wise) I need a credit card.... SIKE!!! Just kidding, never going down that road ever again... Seems like an addiction, because i have so much fabric that i need to make new shoes, but yet i see so much other pretty fabric that i just want but do not need... HAHAHA... A lady contacted me through etsy to make some shoes for her twins baptism... she totally picked out the colors and the flower from another shoe and this is what i came up with... i think they are adorable!!! aww and they are a size 1 so they are tiny... i miss my tiny taylor, she is just growing sooo fast!!!!

A couple days ago when brandon and I went to walmart i picked up some things for a project for Taylor's headbands and bows... they were just shoved in a drawer or hanging from something else... so this is the headband holder! The headbands are being held by coffee hooks.... Brandon's parents gave us this bookshelf and it didn't match anything we owned... PLUS brandon owns i think one book... and i have no room to talk because i own like 4... i know, i just hate to read.. unless its beneficial...like educational (learning to _____, or how to books) I just can't get into fiction books... my mind races and i start to think of something else (like cleaning the bathroom) and before i know it i am on page 5 and just had a mini-daydream and have no idea what i just read!!! OKAY off topic back to the book shelf... sooo it didn't match anything but my kitchen table, so i decided to turn it into a china cabinit (even though there is no cabints or good china... you get the point) at the very top i used coffee hooks to hold coffee mugs... i think it looks cute, and it holds all my extra dishes... anyways enough of that ramble...

OH the best news ever... i got a new sewing machine... yes it is wonderful!!! i can now sew clothes for Taylor the right way... the machine comes with an overlocking stitch so when you wash the clothes it won't fray... I got it at Sears and its a Kenmore... it was on sale too!!! I just love all the cool things it can do.... i mean it does everything but sew for me! haha. So more projects of little clothes for Taylor and my Etsy site!!!

Kinda Boring.....

Wow, there really has been nothing going on this week... ha-ha.... I have been making shoes and hanging out with Taylor... Brandon has been working and going to school. Brandon has Spring Break next week so i have a couple days to hang out with him.
Wonder what makes her this tired to just fall asleep sitting up.....

Usually we use a little baby washcloth to give her a bath, but i just feel that the soap just dissipates in the water... so brandon suggested getting a travel loofa (they are half the size) and it produces so many bubbles and soap, it has to be cleaning her! haha.. she loved it...she was trying to put it in her mouth (we didn't let her) just like everything else...

It was so funny, a few days ago around 7 am i heard a scratching though the baby monitor and banging noise, nothing i have ever heard before... so i went into Taylor's room and this is what i found... her, chewing on the baby monitor... she is becoming so mobile and grabs everything... i guess i need to put the monitor in a different spot now...


Its so great having these iphones if i see something i can just grab my phone and take a picture... or i can send pictures to people and receive pictures... it has been YEARS since i have been able to receive a picture text message, so i am super excited about my NON-ghetto phone :)

Another Beautiful Day..

So on our little afternoon walk, its like 60 out... brandon says "you know its going to snow tomorrow with a high of 30" WHAT?!?!?!?! you gotta be kidding me... i knew i jinxed myself... Lets see if it really happens!!! So Taylor is growing... like a weed... she is starting to grow out of her size 2 diapers the box of size 3 diapers says 16+pounds... so i guess she is already suppose to be in those size 3's because she has to be more than 16 pounds... to me she weighs a ton... haha... SPEAKING of diapers.... My dad did the funniest thing when we came into town last week (i told you i was going to tell everyone dad!) We get to there place and taylor is kinda fussy and my mom said she might need a new diaper... so i said i need to run out to the car and grab the bags to get the diapers... My mom said don't worry about it, your dad went to the store and bought Taylor diapers and wipes... sweet... i look at the box and it says SIZE 5.... "umm dad... why did you get size 5?" he says "Duh, 5 months" HAHAHAHA (dosen't work like that) so Taylor is sitting on the bed with my mom and dad hovering over her putting on a size 5 diaper that pretty much covers her entire mid-section, while putting the diaper on backwards.... LOL... i wish i had my camera, I think they are a little rusty......haha. My mom bought Taylor a few Spring dresses here are a few pictures of her in one of her dresses.... i made her headband...





Bosley Moved... and she just fell over, i caught her mid-fall!


Brandon came home and i took a few pictures of Taylor and him playing... trying to get taylor to sit by herself without falling over immediately..

The look on her face is priceless... Please Daddy don't let me go....!!!!!!

Loving this Weather.

Eau Claire has been gorgeous... wait, what? yes that is correct... when we got back all the snow was melted and 60 degree weather welcomed us home. Put away those uggs, spring is finally here!!! (um knock on wood, watch us have a snow storm next week). When we got back from MN airport that evening we decided to take Taylor on her first "Big Girl" stroller ride... she is usually in her car seat attached to the stroller, well i decided to buy this really cute lightweight stroller (combi cranberry fusion... LOVE IT!) its compact and so easy to get to unlike the "Travel System" which is HUGE.... so here are a few pictures of taylor on her first walk around the neighborhood with mommy and daddy!



We are seriously blessed in so many ways, but most of all having a happy baby... except when she gets bored... she lets you know... haha she is most happy when she is held... but what baby isn't??? Our first BBQ of the year!!!!! How exciting... everyone down south, you don't understand... you got sunshine and warm weather like a few weeks ago... our snow just melted and the sun just came out... OMG the people outside... its like a scary movie or something EVERYONE is outside... i don't blame them Brandon and I opened all our windows and doors and grilled and took a walk... anything to just be out of this house.



Soooo i guess i didn't post that i chopped all my hair off... yeah my hair was down my lower back... and it was just out of control!!! haha.. Taylor always grabbed my hair and i could never do anything with it because it takes 25 min to blow dry and 30 min to strighten it... WELLLL since i got my hair cut short my curls... curl! haha... A while ago Mrs. Darla got me this defussor for my hair dryer, its like a sock that fits on the top and its the coolest thing, its not like those giant claw looking thing... well i could never get my hair to curl becuase my hair was so heavy and it looked like i jumped out of 1980 when it dried... so now that it is short... it takes me 15min to do everything!!!!!! yeah i might never have long hair again, or until taylor goes to school...haha.. here is a picture of me with my short curly hair... yes its one of those ghetto mirrored pictures but brandon is never home so i just took it in the mirror.

Finished all the little boxes for tomorrow and already ready for something else to do! haha!

Whippersnappers Boutique Shoes

Thursday around 4-4:30 depending on what time Brandon gets home from school, so he can watch Taylor i am going to go over to the Boutique to drop off the 14 pairs of shoes i made!! They are so presh, well i think so at least!! I made (2) Iris (2) Edens (2) Belle they don't really match anything in the store purposely but they are super cute and would make great baby shower gifts for little girls. Also the owner was asking me about making shoes that match the Deux par Deux Summer 2010 Line.... and this is what i came up with... these photos of mine are taken by a lightbox i created with a Luvs Diaper box, White tissue paper, a lamp and paper... creative? No? well someone that is broke and can't afford Photoshop an $700 program has to do what i gotta do!! Man if i had photoshop i think my pictures would be top notch! hahaha...... anyways back to the shoes the outfits (clothes) are Deux par Deux and the shoes are just colors that are close to try to match the little outfits... i hope they like them!


My Camera doesn't pick up the Hot pink as well as it should... but these shoes are bright and summery for sure!!!
