Future UT Graduate!

Brandon is the biggest UT fan... so Taylor has a few UT outfits... We are just preparing her for her future college she will attend! haha! She looks too cute in Orange!

We stopped by wal-mart on our way home and we saw a mini police car!!! See mom i told you taylor is ready for her Barbie car!!! haha... not really, but Taylor stood up by herself in this car.

Little Project..

So for a while now i have been wanting to redo Taylor's nursery... As of right now her room is Pink & Lime Green..... Princess and Frogs, I am so over PINK... HAHAHA seriously it seems like everything for a little girl is pink. I love pink, but i just need something new. Of course i would love to go out and spend a couple hundred dollars and getting a brand new set for miss Taylor Kate... but realistically its not going to happen! Maybe when she is like 13 and wants a big girl room...but now its not a necessity. So i figure i would try to make, and reclaim as much of old things she has and reuse it again with just a different fabric/design! It might work, might not... but i will never know until i try!! So i have been pretty busy with my little business at home.. but the first project i took on was a small one. I bought these picture frames like 6 years ago when i had my first apartment... they were a little rough looking...


I bought some cheap paint from hobby lobby, and also used the fabric that i want to make her bedskirt and bumper with... sage polka dots with yellow and pink flowers... so girly i love it! I went to hobby lobby last week and they were out of the sage polka dots!!!! hope they get some more or i am going to have to make a trip to Nashville! This is what the final picture frames looked like when they were all done.




Hopefully i can get her nursery done before she turns 1!!! haha i will keep you updated on my little projects!

Mommy can we go to Disney? -Taylor

Today we took a drive down to Bowling Green... we had nothing to do today so we stopped by Brandon's job and picked up his paycheck and looked around Bowling Green... all I'm saying is, i have not lost anything in that town... the mall was okay :) F.Y.I for all you Bath & Body Work crazies...um $3.00 for a normal size bottle of lotion, That is awesome!!! I had to get me a bottle of "Black Amethyst" reminds me of my mom's perfume Chanel Mademoiselle... but a zillion times cheaper :) They had a carousel ride inside the mall, i was sort of hesitant on letting her ride it because i thought she would freak out. BUT the moment brandon put her on the horse she was all smiles!!! these are the few pictures i got with my iphone... umm the iphone takes crappy pictures but i didn't have my camera on me so it will do!

New Jammies!

I seriously went to every wal-mart in clarksville to find Taylor 12 month P.J's with the feet. I could not find any... so finally at the Sango wal-mart i gave in and bought Taylor these cute 2 piece P.J sets... they have no feet but oh well... for $5.00 and they are all organic cotton... i think it was a great deal!!!


Bosley and Taylor constantly fight over this yellow stuffed animal (its really bosley's dog toy) but Taylor tries so hard to crawl for it... she goes no where... until she rolls to it... she is a very mobile baby... i have no idea how she got into her diaper bag today but she did it... so now is the beginning of me having to be more careful and more aware of what she is doing... where is the time going??? My baby girl is wearing big girl jammies :)

Beautiful in Polka Dots!

Polka dots are perfect for summer!! I have been slacking on this blog, I have been pretty busy with my tiney tiny business..people are going crazy over the Brandon onesie set... :) Pregnancy & Newborn magazine will be featuring the brandon set in October!!! Pretty exciting i can't wait to pick up a magazine and see my little set!
These are a few pictures of Taylor today.... we went to the post office.... haha... yes i love to dress Taylor up. Even if we aren't going anywhere its just fun, she is like my little doll. I suppose that is why ribbons and bows stay in the hair pretty well... she doesn't even mind them... well she did pull it off once and its elastic... so it came back and hit her in the face, she was fine, she was just shocked like "what just happened??"

Hello Again!

I think Taylor is going to be a hat girl... She can rock out any hat!



We went to Opa and Oma's house for father's day and it was such a nice day (super hot day!) Mrs. Darla cooked yummy food and even made homemade ice cream... it was banana, Taylor Loves bananas! Its so great to be back in Tennessee being able to hang out with family even during the smaller holidays. Taylor also learned not to leave her stuffed toys on the floor.... LOL this was hilarious... Bella was rolling around the carpet with this tiny stuffed ladybug...

Saturday the day before father's day we spent it with my parents we had a cook out and went to the pool... Im sure every time brandon and I know we are going to our family houses he is like yesss a home cooked meal...LOL maybe i should start cooking more, i can cook somewhat if i apply myself...but i don't... i'll work on that. Anyways... We went to the pool and taylor is such a water bug! she loves the water!!! my dad got a bunch of great photos and video, i took most of them with his camera. But these are the few i got.... check out Taylor's swim suit!! its a 2 piece, i figure she can wear one until she is 13 then its a one piece.. with a skirt...

The other day Taylor and I went over to Lita's (that is going to be my mom's new name because there is no way a baby is going to be able to say abuelita) and grandpa's house for like a minute. We got there around 5:30 and by almost 7pm Taylor was having a massive melt down (bedtime for her). I think she was held too much and now we are paying for it.... j/k... but really, she has been such a crab. She wines all the time and i don't think its her teeth... i think its because she is not getting her way... for example today bosley has this yellow stuff animal he was playing with... he left it near taylor and she grabbed it... i saw her try to put that nasty thing in her mouth so i took it from her... OMG... She screamed so loud!!!!! Now i understand why some parents give in when there child throws a tantrum they just want them to stop screaming!!! LOL... Umm... for as long as i can remember i was always scared to act like that in public... because i was scared of my momma!!! Taylor is too small to understand... but if i say no... she starts to cry... maybe she understands a little :) I took a few photos of my mom and dad and Taylor...

We are crazy about wal-mart... seriously if you come into my apartment and ask me where did i get "_____" wal-mart or target... seriously. hahaha. When i had my baby shower my awesome cousin Jessica sent me this (pic below)... it is an eddy bauer cart cover... let me say we love wal-mart, but when i go into the walmart on ft. campbell blvd i feel gross... Like the walmart by sango is nice, and the one on wilma rudolph is getting nice, but the one on our side of town is just gross.... so when i see Taylor lean over wanting to put her mouth on the cart i have this cool cover to protect her from all the germs (im not a germaphobe or anything i just don't want my daughter putting her mouth on things that zillions of people touch on the daily..like the restaurant tables and shopping carts!)... the things people invent... can't wait to see what else i can find!

Princess Taylor and Oma!!


Yesterday i got to see my friends!! So sorry i have been neglecting everyone... but i really needed to get my house in order and make my apartment feel like a home for Taylor. I stopped by Ashley's new apartment and she has it decorated so cute!! Not to mention that huge T.V. in your living room... Ashley put on one of izzie's baby Einstein's and a lion puppet came on the t.v. and i guess since the t.v. was so big it freaked her out she started screaming... it was kinda hilarious though! I haven't seen izzie since my baby shower and she has grown up so much, and such a talker.... Taylor was pulling at her face and her hair... and just smiling at izzie, that is really the only way she knows how to interact with anyone but it was nice to get to hang out for a while and see them again!!! I should of gotten a photo of izzie and taylor but i totally forgot!!! Yikes next time for sure!!

I got to see Amy and Suzanne at Ocharlies yesterday too!! They look so good, 2 years and it seems like everything changes... they seem so happy!!! Not to mention they have great guys in there life too... that always makes a difference in life! I am really glad i am home that i get to see them again, every now and then! I took these photos with my iphone... they are bad pictures but its all i have.




Today has been such a crazy day... and we got to go to Lita's and Grandpa's place today while Brandon went golfing... will post about that tomorrow.. its 9pm and i am already ready to go to bed... Good night!!!

Kinda Late... Taylor 8 months!

She is such a doll and i just LOVE LOVE LOVE her. Mine and Brandon's life has been hectic since the day we met... long story (don't want to bore you with that) and what drama (of course the drama was on his end.. a.k.a the EX) ... LOL... above all of that we some how find a way to resolve it, and love each other very much no matter how much drama enters our life. We work very hard at our relationship and the goals that we want to acquire in life... of course there has been some speed bumps along the way... but everything seems to be working out somehow. I suppose the best thing is compromising... I'm sure if Brandon is reading this... i am working on it!!! haha. Ok but for real, 17 months ago i found out i was pregnant... 8 months ago i had a beautiful baby girl. I was not ready for this adventure quite yet in my life, but by my life choices i made, and with god or whomever is looking over me... i knew that Taylor was going to be my daughter and i was going to be her momma, she is the world to me and i love her so much... there are not words that can describe the kind of love i have for my daughter... Happy 8 month sweet baby girl, i love you with all my heart.
