39 Weeks Pregnant
When will it be over... haha... I'm not even past my due date, but if you have ever been close to 40 weeks pregnant you understand the way i am feeling!!! Everything is just not normal, like the way you bend over, or the way you walk.. it just time. Any chance i get, if i drop something i am like "Taylor, can you please pick this up for mommy??" of course she does she loves me!! I was looking at my pictures from when Taylor was born and how rough and tired i look... i just pray every time i think about going into labor with Nora that this time around will be a lot easier. I understand no labor is easy... but i have heard stories of ladies who push out babies in 3 pushes. To me that sounds insane because i was actively pushing with a Doctor from 5:30am till 8:48am, i was so tired that i literally could not push anymore that they had to use the vacuum. I do not want the vacuum used on Nora because 1. There head comes out really alien-like. 2. It ripped me! SO i would like to avoid that tool.
Today is June 30th, we were hoping Nora would make her appearance on Mam-maws birthday... but no luck. She is going to be a July baby for sure! Unless she comes out in the next 4 hours and 30 min. It could happen! HA! Nora is going to be the Cancer sign "the crab" and her birthstone will be a Ruby. I hope she is not a crabby baby! Lol
I have my last appointment Tuesday July, 3rd (40 week appointment) and if she hasn't made her appearance by then they are going to set up an appointment for induction. Im totally fine with induction too, because i won't ever have to feel a contraction!! I've heard that inductions have higher risk for c-sections but i am willing to risk it if i can get Nora out of me. I am up to 45 pounds, 7 more pounds i gained the same amount with Taylor (52lbs)... this weight is on different parts of my body though then with Taylor. This time around my belly button is out (eww its so gross looking) With Taylor it was just flat. A few weeks after Taylor was born when everything settled down, i had 26 pounds to loose at the gym... literally took me almost 2 years to get into the gym. When i finally did.. and i was 5 pounds away from pre-pregancy weight when i found out i was pregnant with Nora. Starting all over again! I don't mind even if i gained 100 pounds knowing i have Taylor and Nora happy and healthy is all that matters. We are 100% sure that the baby shop is closed for good :) Hopefully I won't have a 40 week post and there will just be a picture of Nora Belle!!!!

38 Weeks Pregnant
38 weeks and slacking on a picture due to lack of getting dressed. Haha... really, my pants are fitting so tight and i refuse to buy bigger maternity clothes because i only have 2 more weeks left. Its insane how much bigger i have gotten in just the last few weeks, fingers crossed its water weight because i have been drinking water like a camel... but i am pretty close to the same weight i had gained with Taylor. I really don't care about the weight gain as much as the frustration of not having anything to wear. It's almost over so that is all i care about :) My Doctor told me that nothing has changed still at 1 cm, so Nora is chilling comfortably in my belly, i think she wants to be a July baby, i am hoping for July 2nd.. (Taylor was born on Oct 2nd). I have noticed an increase of tiredness... more like laziness! Braxton hicks are super annoying my whole stomach will get super tight and if i get them while walking its so annoying! They do not hurt just feel really weird and makes it hard to breathe.
Other than that Taylor is doing great! She is 2 years and 8 months and is a learning sponge!! She has always had interest in learning new things (i'm sure most 2 year olds are!) She has mastered her ABCs... not just the ABC song, but letter recognition (like i would get a sheet of computer paper and draw "F" and she can tell me what letter it is). She has known those since 2, but recently "lower case" abc's she gets "Ii" "Ll" confused.. because the lower case letters look so similar. She knows all her pronunciations of the alphabet, I would get the paper and write "K" and ask her the sound and she would say "Ki!"(however that sound is written out). She can count to 13, after that it gets real choppy.. we are working on number recognition, and her primary colors she has down... once in a while she will get confused but most of the time she can tell you all the colors. I just love watching Taylor learn and she gets so happy when her daddy comes home and she can tell him what she did, what i bought, or what she learned. She is like a mini-Dino (you know the flinstones) Brandon comes home and she is "yip, yip, yip" until he will pay attention to her.
Yesterday Taylor got a gift in the mail from Lita & gpa, it was a puzzle of the united states, puzzle says 5 years and older... but why not start early! LOL.. Im not sure if that is a recommendation for starting Kindergarten but its fun letting her play with the puzzle. Melissa and Doug make awesome wooden puzzles and toys at Target. Oma has an ABC puzzle that i need to order for Nora that seems like a great way to learn the ABCs also they have Numbers and all kinds of puzzles and they come with sound!! We were playing with the puzzle and i would ask her "where does Uncle Eddy live??" she would point to Colorado and say... "C-O-L-O-R-A-D-O" LOL she can not say/remember the state so she would pick up the puzzle piece and spell the state, i would try to help and she would say "No, mommy... i do it by myself" she is such an independent child been like that since birth... Im totally fine with though!!!
We were playing in her pop-up tent (i really miss my bonus room.. this obnoxious tent takes up our whole living room, and while i try to take it down... taylor freaks!!)
I took a small video of Taylor playing with her States puzzle..

Happy Father's Day!
We didn't celebrate Father's day on Father's day because Brandon worked from 1pm-4am, so we decided to celebrate Father's Day and his Birthday, on his Birthday!! Taylor made Brandon a really cute card with both her hands that opened up and inside was accordion like that the front said "I love you" and inside stretches out to "This much!!" and both her hands open the card, it was cute something better than just going to walmart and buying a card :) She also got Brandon a frame with pictures that spell out "DAD" I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it would be cute to make for Brandon. We went to hobby lobby and got a couple letters that I painted (sorta matched her dress) then found a 3 picture frame at Target. I told him he could go golfing one day that he had a day off, he just rented a video game and vegged out in front of the TV while Taylor and I made cupcakes
Taylor and I made Brandon cupcakes on his birthday (he ate 1 surprisingly!)
Hope everyone had a great Father's day! TO my dad, love and miss you wish you lived closer :)

For Father's day we had made a cake which he didn't eat any of it, he really doesn't like sweets so i'll leave the sweets and cakes for Taylor and I, and just get him a 6 pack of beer from now on... :)
While Taylor and I were looking for a frame at target, she found these really cute sunglasses that she called her "Cinderella" sunglass... what an imagination, because they have no princess on them, they are just a pair of pink "wayfarer" style kid glasses. She says "Oh mommy, sunny day oh sunny day, where are my cinderella glasses?"

37 Weeks Update!! Happy Birthday to my Hubby!
I am 37 weeks and 2 days... i have 18 days left until my due date. I feel like she is going to come early, but we shall see!!! I am so uncomfortable its ridiculous. Even driving my car hurts, Nora will start to move and her feet or arms as they are jabbing me in the ribs. She has dropped so low that i swear i look like a waddling duck. At my 37 week appointment my Doctor told me that i was 1 cm dilated and highly unlikely that she would come this week. I am going every Wed to see if any thing is progressing. With Taylor I started contractions at 6:30am on Oct 1st and went into the hospital around 2pm and i was only 2 cm dilated but they admitted me because my contractions were close and regular. They would NOT give me an epidural until i was 4 cm (Eau Claire, WI... worse place to have a baby if you want drugs and no pain) I didn't have Taylor until Oct 2nd around 8am... I promised myself i would never have another child... and look here comes baby number 2 in just a few days!!! Unless Brandon gets an amazing job with an amazing raise we will only be having 2 kids.. which i am perfectly fine with 2 sweet girls.
Today we went to Olive Garden with Brandon for his 31st Birthday/Father's Day... I can't believe he is already 31 years old... we have been through a lot together and its only the beginning. He is working all day tomorrow so today we celebrated both his Birthday and Fathers Day. Brandon was being silly at lunch today and Taylor said "Dada stop, you are too much" WHERE did she hear that from??? She is growing into a mini-adult?!?!
Taylor says cute stuff all the time and i am just glad i have this blog to write a few of them down. I always take my Prenatal vitamin before i go to bed and since Taylor has been sleeping in our room she always see me take it. Tonight she picks up my bottle and says, " Here mommy, Nora needs to eat.. take your vitamin" I wish i could just bottle up her cuteness and save it forever.

Mommy's little helper...
She is such a handful sometimes but when it comes to cleaning she always wants to help. Im sure she will outgrow this sometime soon... but in the meantime its fun letting her help (or act like) she is helping :)
She told me that this was her baby's food, and I asked her if I cooked it and this is the face she gave me... haha that is one of my weaknesses i suck at cooking... Brandon is getting better though he has been experimenting with cooking when he has the night off, the other night he made chicken alfredo pasta and it was really good! Taylor is not really a fan of pasta like red/white she only likes yellow! (Mac & Cheese)
Trouble...
I forgot to take my 37 week photo yesterday so i'll upload it tomorrow! Doctor said everything looks great, that i shouldn't plan on her coming this week... still too early! Nora's head is still down, and i am 1 cm dilated... It's almost like christmas... but not knowing when christmas is... kinda sucks i wish i knew a date!!!. Fingers crossed she comes soon!

35 and 36 Weeks!
I have my weekly check up tomorrow (i am 37 weeks TOMORROW!!!) I'm pretty sure i wasn't this excited to have Taylor out of my belly... but since 35 weeks i have felt super uncomfortable. Every move Nora makes is like, UGH my rib.. UGH my hip..please get out of my belly! Heartburn is serious this time around, it was as well with Taylor but this time its all day long, I pop pecids 2 a day and tums throughout the day. I drink plenty of water so i don't get kidney stones like with Taylor so i have 3 weeks and relief is on its way.
I keep thinking in my head, how is having 2 kids going to work? When will i get a shower?? Brandon started his second job about two weeks ago... so these past two weeks i have gotten a preview of what my weeks will look like... which i feel like i will have to go grocery shopping and shower all in one day, his one day off... LOL just kidding. Taylor is 2 years 8 months and she has been sleeping in our bed because she says she is afraid of the dark, she has a nightlight on so its really not dark... but she insist that she sleep with us, and i am so lazy that i don't fight her i just tell her to get into our bed... but when Nora is crying every 3 hours to be changed and fed freaks me out.... Im pretty sure i am just over thinking the whole two kid thing, my mom had 3 and that one lady on TV has 19... so what is two right??? DON'T get any ideas grandparents, this baby shop is closed forever!!!!! I know for a fact, our luck we would have 3 girls... i can't handle 3 girls...LOL i know Brandon can't handle 4 females in one house hold!
I'll try to update soon of 37 weeks... i feel like I'm going to pop... but Nora will probably be late just like her sister :)

I just want to eat her up!
Taylor has got to the point where she has a crazy imagination. She is 2 years 8 months and i just love to watch her play and come up with crazy ideas, for example she finds toys and refers them to us such as a dolphin is Taylor, Mommy is the Whale (Mmmm ok), and daddy is the Shark. There are many toys that she always pick out the family and sometimes she even includes Nora!! The other night in the bath tub she called for Brandon "Look Dada!! Teacup iz a cowboy!" We could not stop laughing because she is changing so much and gets smarter by the minute.
Taylor went into Nora's nursery and grabbed her seahorse (used to be Taylor's when she was a baby) that lights up and plays music.. she sat it on my belly and said "Nora's seahorse, play music" fingers crossed this sisterly love last until they both move out of our house... haha we can wish!
Aww sometimes i just want to eat her up cause she acts so cute, then she goes and destroys every room in the house with all her toys after i just picked up the house :)

Surprise Baby Shower Lunch for Nora!
It was such a surprise the other day!!! Taylor and I planned to go to lunch with Oma, Beth and McKenzie a "Girls" lunch date... Taylor stayed the night with Oma the previous night so we all met up the following day to get lunch. We went to this Italian restaurant called Coco's Italian... never heard of it, but it was delicious! I really want to take Brandon to this restaurant, it was that good! What really threw me off is that my friends Miriah and Ashley were sitting at the table and i was like "what the heck is going on???" then i noticed the balloons and put two and two together....LOL. It was so sweet for everyone to come and shower baby Nora!! Apparently Brandon knew about this for a couple weeks and he said that it was killing him not telling me, I can't believe he kept it a secret (every special occasion "surprise" he has spilled the beans) OR every time he tries to lie, he can't his face does something weird... hahaha... so i told him that i am on to him.... hehe. I was waiting for Beth's mom to post pictures on facebook of the shower, i didn't take many so i was waiting to steal her photos off facebook :)
You can click on the picture and it will get larger if you can't see it from the blog :)
Beth made these delicious cupcakes, they were Tiramisu Cupcakes and Taylor talked about them all night too, she kept asking for more cupcakes when we got home :)
Oma had made Nora a baby quilt and a keepsake box to keep the quilt in too! I didn't get a picture of the frame she made but its on Nora's nightstand if anyone comes over... can't wait to fill it with a picture of Nora!!! Umm.. the granny underwear is from a "mommy of two survival kit" that Aunt Beth made me. It was a basket that had a card that explained what each item meant, it was really cute! When i got home from the shower I was showing Brandon the basket and he was like (in regards to the panties) "OMG what are these?!?! Can you wear those?!?! I said "Ummm... i can if you want... LOLOLOL" He thought they were hilarious, after i told him it was a joke... silly hubby.
It was such a blast!!! Thank you to everyone who came to shower Nora Belle!

A look Back!
Since I missed writing my weekly post about Baby Nora... i still took pictures this time around with baby #2. With Taylor i think i had 1 or 2 pictures of me pregnant... so this time i just took mirror pictures since i can never remember to get brandon to do it (that is what happened last time with Taylor). I look so sick around 8-15 weeks... I was literally sick and nauseous (doctor medicated) from week 8-15.
I took 35 week picture a couple days ago, but tomorrow is my 36 week picture so i'll just upload those later!!! Sooner rather than later you will be seeing pictures of Nora Belle than me and my big belly!! haha!!!!

Nora's Pregnancy thus far...
This pregnancy is so different than Taylor's.... complete 180. First all i was sick everyday for the first 14 weeks.. started around 5 weeks and didn't have relief until right around 14 weeks. With Taylor I got sick a few times at work and that was it. I have been drinking so much water with Nora because i do not want kidney stones like i had with Taylor. I didn't know that i was suppose to drink a lot of water... I drank mostly coffee from Starbucks (carmel maccaciatos). I gained 50 pounds with Taylor on the day I went into labor i weighed myself and was up to 50 pounds, I'm not sure if i will gain the same with Nora... i'll let you know once i go into labor. I only had 2 cravings with Taylor Skittles and Cheeto puffs, i could eat that everyday and when i had cravings for something that is all i could think about until i ate it!! Nora... in the beginning i had cravings for real food like actual food (thought I was having a boy!) well as soon as i reached 14 weeks it was back to sweets :) I knew it was a girl, but Brandon was set on it being a boy... mothers intuition i guess?? :) Both girls give me severe heartburn, its insane how much heartburn hurts my esophagus feels like it is on fire!!! Tums and Pepsid... most of the time i take pepsid but if i forget i have to pop tums because the feeling is intolerable. That is pretty much the only pain i have is heartburn... But as of yesterday i am 35 weeks and the feeling of not being able to bend over, i am starting to waddle because i have felt Nora drop like right between my legs if you know what i mean!! pressure is super uncomfortable. No braxton hicks contractions i don't think i felt those with taylor either... lots of hiccups right before i go to bed my stomach looks like i have a bag of popcorn and i am the microwave.. lol. Laziness and procrastination have set in. I just want to lay in bed and sleep and its only 5:45pm I never felt that way with Taylor... but i think it was because i was drinking coffee all the time and working full time that i really didn't have time to think about being tired... As i am chasing my 2 year old (more like letting her do whatever she wants, trashing my house) not really leaving the house because i don't want to spend any money... boredom sets in and so does cabin fever... So i am really excited about Nora getting here, Im sure things will be hard in the beginning but once we find our routine things will be easier... now if we can only get Taylor to sleep in her own bed, we will be set!
My girly girl.
I have no idea where she gets it from. A little bit from me, but she just loves everything about dressing up, shoes, make up, jewelry... She always says "aw cute" "oh pretty" LOL it might change in the future, Brandon is insistent that one of the two girls will be his "tom-boy" HA lets see if that happens. This past weekend was Memorial Day and my parents were in town for 2 days and mom found her this Barbie purse that has a cell phone, car keys, credit cards, fake compact blush.... She is hilarious with this purse. We were getting ready to go shopping and Taylor says "where are my keys??" She grabbed her purse and said "ok lets go" REALLY... i about died. I had to take a picture of her on memorial day ready to go! 2.5 years old and Brandon is already scared. Taylor handed my dad her barbie keys to start the car and he pretended to put the keys (he used his own keys) handed taylor her barbie keys back and said that his car is keyless start... LOL. she thought it was the coolest thing and put her keys back into her purse.
Yesterday we went to Target (my favorite store!) I have been trying to find a pair of inexpensive earring for Taylor. She has had the same pink (her Oct birthstone) earrings that she got her ears pierced with at 8 weeks. So for the last 2 years she has had the same and thought its time for a change... So while we were at target I saw a bunch of pink boxes at the jewelry counter $7.99-$14.99 that were all sterling silver.. so she got a pair of heart diamond earrings for $7.99!!! I asked her what kind she wanted and she said ladybug, spider, bird, .... bunch of random insect/animals.. LOL. I told her lets start off with the hearts and later get the bug ones... haha. I thought she wouldn't let me change them out, but she was excited about her new earrings and had me put them in while we were in the Target parking lot. Here is Taylor with her new earrings! You can barley see them...
Taylor wanted a new pair of shoes... but she wanted a pair of "lady shoes" she loves wearing my shoes around the house... I told her she could try them on but we had plenty at home :)
33 days left and Nora will be here (hopefully!)
