6 Month Check-Up

Yesterday Taylor went to the Doctors for her 6 month check up! She is Fabulous... she does have a flat spot on her left side of her head which makes her head misshaped..but the doctor said with time and not putting her on her back unless she is asleep at night should help it round out, gravity will eventually do its magic (I hope!) She is still beautiful regardless! She is on track with everything... and she is at the 90th percentile with her length and 70th percentile with her weight... 17 pounds!!! I am so ready for her to reach 20 pounds so i can finally get rid of that heavy portable car seat.... and get a stationary car seat that stays in the car... 17 pounds (Taylor) plus 9 pounds (car seat) that is what i have to carry around when i have to go places... man she gets heavy!!! Yesterday was such a beautiful day that i get to start dressing Taylor up in girly short sleeves and dresses! This cute outfit i got from my baby shower... so precious...

This is the naked baby waiting for the doctor to come in and check her out... and give her shots... OMG... seems like as the months go by and she gets older... the screams last longer and louder... this time i had to go to the doctors by myself and trying to console her, get her dressed, and get out of the patient room was tough... but we got through it. She is my little champ.

During the appointment the doctor gave us the "go ahead" with the stage 2 foods and feeding twice a day (so i feed her lunch and dinner) of course she has her formula too though out the day!! But the great part is with stage 2 foods is.... they are YUMMY... hahaha today she had Raspberry/ banana Oatmeal puree... and Cinnamon apple puree!!! She loved them!!! i tried them too... gotta know what i am giving my baby girl... and yes they are delish..haha.. Not like the puree peas and green beans, the smell makes me want to vomit.. i told the doctor that it makes Taylor gag... anything green its really hard for her to get down... and the Doctor told me not to worry about feeding her greens if they make her gag she doesn't like it, to give her food she likes! so no more peas or green beans... she loves carrots and squash though! Surprisingly she loves prunes... but that is an emergency food, if you know what i mean... gross.

My sweet Taylor... getting so tall...

Today was Kyle's (Brandon's Brother) Birthday!!! So Taylor and I decided to send him a little facebook message... then she decided to eat it... like everything else! haha...Happy Birthday!
