Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

Well, happy birthday to me, yesterday! Haha! My 26th birthday was very low key, just Taylor and me all day hanging out until brandon got home from school at 5pm, then we went to the Roadhouse and got a yummy steak and rented a movie! Brandon sent me Flowers (they came at 10am...which i was in the process of feeding Taylor bananas and still in my P.J.s) So i was like ummm maybe the guy will just set them down and leave... no, that guy was just standing there... so i grabbed my robe and i was a total mess, i answered the door... embarrassing... oh well!

My mom and dad sent me a box and a card... i just love getting mail, i mean except bills... she sent me a bunch of stuff to beautify myself (like bath, lotions, and Clinique stuff)..Haha, when am i going to have time to do that?!?!?! my mom was like just put taylor in her crib with some toys... umm... taylor has to be around people or she will scream!!! we have to get her used to entertaining herself... its such a task entertaining a baby all day!!! She also sent me a birthday hat... silly mom... i put taylor in the hat, she is testing it out for her first birthday! They got me a bottle of wine... (can you mail wine???) i know when i send boxes they always ask me... is there anything liquid, fragile or perishable?? Well, it made it safe surprisingly!

I kinda miss the old school way of Birthdays, you know when people send you cards to show you they took the effort to go to the store and get a stamp and put it in the mailbox.... Now in this technology world... people E-mail "happy birthday" and send facebook messages...LOL (also i am having technical difficulties with my damn phone... its a POS, but i am working on brandon getting me an iphone, i can wish!). Well i've always sent cards, i just like it that way! So this year i got two cards for my birthday (yeah brandon i know your reading this.... you didn't get me a card! haha) my parents, and my best friend whom i met in Germany when we were in the 4th grade, Jennifer Campbell... Thanks girl, i can't believe you remembered!! Overall it was a pretty good day, other than not having cake or candles..... i know i am not 10, but what is a birthday with no cake? Ahh i miss my family so much... my mom by no means treats me like a child, but she always got me a cake every year, even when i lived in my apartments in clarksville... she made me come home so my family can sing me happy birthday and blow out candles... all 24 years... i didn't get a cake last year either because i lived in Wisconsin... I just love how my parents treasure the special occasions... I intend to do the same with Taylor... because i know once i get back home... My mom and going to be calling me when i'm like 40... "you need to come over, and eat your cake and blow out candles" hahahaha,
